Overview

Turner is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online.

Background Story

He is known to the public as a savior. He is called this because he provides free treatment to the wounded on both sides of the war between Capella and Procyon. However, Turner himself declines the title, saying it is more than he deserves.

Turner was once a disciple of Sage Aldebaran. After Aldebaran's death, he has been serving others in the hope that no one in the world would ever suffer again. In reality, however, he conspired with Sage Rigel and joined Prometheus, and after Rigel's death, at the request of Sage Procyon and Capella, he was the one who bestowed the Lord of Destruction's Soul upon two twin mediums.

Turner plans to use the remnants of Prometheus to overthrow all the systems of the continent of Nevareth with the power of the Absolute Soul Core and build a new society.

Suspicious Sage

He declines being called a savior. It is said that, as a child, he was formally appointed as Sage Aldebaran's disciple and studied under him. It is said that he now rushes to wherever he is needed. He has no connection whatsoever with Capella or Procyon and hopes that they will never hear his story.

Mechanical Monster Weapon

When you visit him about the missing guard, Turner is still treating the wounded. He feels distressed that the number of war wounded continues to increase. Turner finds Miles's younger brother, but his condition is critical and he has not regained consciousness. Turner says that he is unlikely to make it through the night and that, if he dies, he will return him to his family. He then wonders aloud whether the true age of darkness is beginning now.

When Miles comes to see him, Turner speaks positively of Miles and says that conflicts and war between nations must end, and that it is something the residents must step forward and resolve themselves. He also wonders what the Sage will say to Miles.

Hell on Earth

When you visit him, he calmly welcomes you. Surprised by the news that the Sage was nearly kidnapped, he asks whether the Sage is safe and realizes that he is under suspicion. Turner insists on his innocence, claiming that he does not commit cowardly acts like certain people. He talks about his past.

Turner was originally the child of a refugee who wandered Arcane Trace. Turner survived by pickpocketing until Aldebaran noticed him and took him as a disciple. Turner became Aldebaran's adopted son and graduated from the Academy with excellent grades. He reveals that Aldebaran did not get along with Capella and Procyon. After Aldebaran's death, he carried out a forbidden act at Capella and Procyon's request and nearly died. He intends to live in gratitude to the person who saved him then. He gives up his desire for revenge and asks that his story not reach the ears of the Sages.

Capella Branch

If you take Aizhan to Turner for treatment, Turner recognizes Aizhan, but Aizhan claims they have never met. Turner suggests going to Leedy.

If you visit Aizhan after she regains her original memories, she claims that her memories had been altered by the Sage. Aizhan's awakening is related to the rampage of Porta Inferno. It was to respond to that power and meet Aizhan and another Soul. Turner says that the two scattered Souls must be reunited.

Aizhan Branch

When you discover the whereabouts of the person who destroyed the monument and visit them, Elena is unconscious and collapsed. If you take her to Turner for treatment, Turner recognizes Elena and takes an interest in her. Elena presses Turner about how they know each other. Turner had actually remembered Elena and had been searching for her. However, Turner did not know the whereabouts of Elena's younger sister. Turner assumes that Sage Capella took her. Turner had also sought the power of the ASC Controller in order to meet Elena and the twins. Turner advises you to find the twins and the other medium and come to him before the two twins run wild. Saying that the continent of Nevareth will collapse if the power cannot be controlled, Turner tells you that a new continent called Senillinia lies beyond the Senia Sea. He says he will wait for you at Senillinean Tower there.

Prelude to the True Battle

When you obtain the Warp Code and enter Senillinean Tower, Turner greets you. Turner says that he must resolve what he himself has done and tells you to bring the twin sisters.

Turner tells Aizhan and Elena how to regain the lives they lost. That involves eliminating the power of the Absolute Soul Core within the other twin. Turner says the power within the two must be removed before it runs wild, and that only he can do so. Turner asks you to bring the Ent Crystal from the Outrageous Enth in Southern Forest, intending to use it to resonate with the power within the medium. When you return with the Ent Crystal, Turner checks their condition and says it has no effect because the twins are not gathered together. He demands that you gather the twins quickly.

When you head to the tower with Elena, Turner asks for materials to awaken the power of the two mediums. When you bring the crystal held by the Shadow of the Senilinnian Warrior, the power within the twin sisters reacts. Turner reveals his true colors. He kidnaps the twin sisters and drives you out of the tower.

When you gather everyone and return to the tower, Turner, having revealed his true colors, confidently greets the expedition. Turner had already awakened the power of the twin sisters.

It becomes impossible to stop the power of the rampaging Souls. The two Sages then present opposing views. Procyon says that if the two Souls are merged, at least one medium could be saved and its power could also be utilized. Since Aizhan's Soul itself is already collapsing, Procyon proposes killing Aizhan and utilizing the power through Elena. Capella, on the other hand, warns that a fragment of the Lord of Destruction's Soul has already run wild, making it extremely dangerous and uncontrollable, and that if Elena, who already possesses great power, is revived, she will return as the Lord of Destruction. Therefore, Capella proposes killing Elena and choosing Aizhan to completely eliminate the Lord of Destruction's Soul and the power of the Absolute Soul Core.

However, Procyon suddenly says that he cannot allow things to proceed as proposed and joins forces with Turner to try to kill Aizhan. Leedy ejects 'me' and Aizhan to Leedy's laboratory through the Warp Gate she had left open in advance to escape, then closes the Gate. When you return, Procyon and Turner have murdered Leedy and fled somewhere.
