Overview

Aike is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online.

Background Story

Aike was dispatched to the Ruins Investigators as an official of the Sage Tower. In a sense, he had completed an elite course of training, and he takes pride in it. Therefore, Aike considers working with the Ruins Investigators dangerous but worthwhile.

However, Aike's underlying motivation for taking on dangerous assignments is his desire for recognition and feelings of inferiority. In fact, Aike is self-conscious about his youthful-looking face and fragility, and he is jealous of his younger brother, whose personality is the opposite of his in every way. That is why he volunteered for the Ruins Investigators despite the danger.

Aike says that he takes care of the clumsy Arionell, but in reality, he secretly has feelings for Arionell.

Activities in In-Game Quests

Prologue

He appears as a member of the Ruins Investigators. He says that he has already heard about “my” exploits from other people.

When Arionell and Freed are late returning from the ruins investigation, he requests a search. He heads toward Arionell and asks “me” to go check on Freed.

The King Disappears

They discover a vampire lair in the mining area of Bloody Ice and enter it, but Nine is nowhere to be found; only Arionell is there. Arionell says that, while investigating the ruins with Aike, she saw Nine being abducted by vampire monsters. After Nine is rescued, Aike is in no danger, but Nine is in critical condition after being infected with vampire venom.

Burying the Sorrow

While staying behind at the lodging, he is attacked by Silverwood. He protects Arionell from the attack and dies in her place.
