Sage Betelgeuse is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online.

Background Story

Betelgeuse does not reveal himself much to the world, although not to the same extent as Rigel, and is not good at showing his feelings. Whenever people spot him, he remains taciturn, as if he is always lost in thought.

The 5th Sage was one of the three disciples who were present when Saint Valentine sealed the Lord of Destruction in the Land of Ice and passed away. The current 11th-generation 5th Sage, Betelgeuse, secretly learned from the previous Sage the words Saint Valentine left behind in his final moments. For some reason, he was deeply shocked and spent some time in hiding, lost in thought. Since he has always been taciturn and reluctant to reveal his true feelings, and because the secret is passed down only to certain individuals from one generation to the next, no one else knows what it was about.

However, although he does not step into the spotlight, it is true that he considers the Sage Tower, which carries on Saint Valentine's legacy, and the role of the 7 Sages to be extremely important. He will not stand by and allow the Sage Tower to be divided.
