Overview

Bane is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online.

Background Story

Bane graduated at the top of his class from the Academy and joined the Sage Tower. Since the Sage Tower had the most knowledge and materials for researching ancient history, it was inevitable that Bane, who was deeply interested in ancient ruins, would join the Sage Tower.

However, the work Bane was assigned at the Sage Tower was different from what he had imagined. Bane had expected to work outside, but his actual task was to search for documents at a desk. Frustrated by this, Bane applied to join the Ruins Investigators organized by Aldebaran and Veradrix.

Although Bane is now the father of a child, he was once romantically involved with Rin. This is a secret that no one knows. Bane also had his son's friend Freed join the Ruins Investigators, and he shares a deep mutual trust with Aldebaran.

Activities in In-Game Quests

Prologue

He is accompanying Sage Aldebaran at the Ruins Investigators. He recommends that I meet Freed while I greet the members of the Ruins Investigators.

Later, he is displeased to hear that the Thief Guild is running rampant, because he actually knew who the Thief Guild's Master was. The looting and raids carried out by the Thief Guild were not actions Rin would have taken. Suspicious, Bane defends Rin, insisting that she is not that kind of person and that something must have gone wrong. Bane asks me to find out whether something has happened inside the Thief Guild or whether Rin is safe, and tells me the location of the Warehouse of the Thief Guild. When I rescue Rin, he expresses his gratitude for saving her.

The King Has Disappeared

If you visit him at Veradrix's request, he welcomes you. He says that he heard about the former Sage Sirius and the Six Stars of Light from the other companions who arrived earlier, and that they went out to investigate the areas assigned to them. He says he will pass on information about the ASC Controller when the members return, and gives you an activity report to send to Veradrix instead of Aldebaran.
