Background Story
Ben was an ordinary adolescent boy who was in conflict with his father. That rebellious attitude led Ben to follow the Heresists when they first appeared in Green Despair.

Spread of the Heresist
He has fallen under the influence of the Heresists that appeared in Green Despair and joined them. When you search for him at Collins's request, he is found in the Mutated Jungle Cabin, but even after being rescued, he does not regain consciousness.
When you bring him medicine to restore his lost soul, he finally returns to normal, and Ben reveals that the Heresists are preparing an offering for a ritual.
