Sage Capella
Overview
Sage Capella is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online.
Background Story
He is highly intelligent and extremely ambitious for power. As a result, he has formed a subtle antagonistic relationship with Procyon, who wields the greatest power. Although they are both Sages, he often angers Procyon by acting as though he disregards him. He is also strongly driven by a thirst for knowledge, wanting to understand and control every principle of the world.
Ultimately, he dreams of a democratic nation where everyone lives as equals, and he is steadily building up the groundwork needed to make this dream a reality, one step at a time.
He feared that Aldebaran's return to Sage Tower after wandering the world and attendance at the council would cause him to lose power. He had ruled the continent as a politician rather than as a Sage and had kept the young Sage Pollux in check. They felt that Prometheus needed to be completely dismantled, but because they disliked Aldebaran, they allowed him to die. After the Lord of Destruction vanished and even Prometheus disappeared, they decided to exercise their innate hunger for power. They decided to end their tacit alliance and hostile symbiosis. Thus began the Capella Federation and Procyon.

A Suspicious Sage
He meets you after receiving a recommendation from Officer Shooterburk. He makes excuses, saying that he could not bring himself to call on you because you seemed busy, but that he was able to meet you thanks to Shooterburk. With the Sage Tower collapsed, a world in which individual will is important has emerged. However, many people are struggling because they cannot adapt. He thinks that when the warrior chose a nation, the warrior must have sympathized with his wish to build a nation in which warriors too are all equal. However, much remains to be done before such a world can exist. He says that the warrior's help is desperately needed. Although he expects to have many requests for the warrior in the future, he first asks the warrior to resolve the Colony residents' complaints.
He summons you after hearing that you visited Port Lux. After hearing about the circumstances of the Colony residents, he says that it is just as he expected. Port Lux is not under any nation's jurisdiction, but it is located in a strategically important position. He says he would be delighted if they followed him. He regrets seeing the seemingly peaceful Colony divide, but asks whether there is any other solution.
Capella believes that the only answer is to end this conflict quickly rather than let it continue forever.
After visiting Lakeside, he reports on the conflict zone. When told about the Colony residents' reaction, he says that he knows he is being criticized and that he is losing public support. However, he says he will try to end the War quickly.
Capella summons you again. He asks what you saw and felt. He pursues a peaceful world, saying that it will come after the end of chaos. He asks about a person named Skaild. He says Skaild recently disappeared and asks you to find him. He becomes troubled when the search for Skaild ends without results. He shows you an empty potion bottle and asks whether it had no contents. It was a potion that prevented people from lying.
First Encounter
He is searching for Skaild's whereabouts but is unable to contact Skaild. He recommends someone who can help with the tasks ahead. That person was the commander of the secret knight order serving as the Sage's personal escort. His identity is not well known to the public. He writes a letter of introduction that will allow you to meet him in Fort. Ruina.
If the search for Skaild does not progress well, summon him and he will recommend a training location. They say that Aizhan also trained there. The first basement level of the Forgotten Temple. It is notorious as a ruin of the Honorable Age. They say that anyone who enters cannot leave, except for those with power and destiny different from others. He assigns you the mission of defeating Felichra there. They say that Aizhan will acknowledge you if you succeed in the mission.
While receiving a report on the search for Skaild, he presses for what Skaild said.
Mechanical Demon Weapon
After receiving Aizhan's report, he learns that the villagers are forming a secret organization. He says he will devise measures to prevent dissatisfaction from erupting again. He is troubled that people do not acknowledge him.
He assigns a mission to resolve the incident occurring in Pontus Ferrum. He says that the clans seem to be in an unusual state as the balance among the monsters has recently collapsed. He expresses his condolences for the sacrifice of Aizhan's Companion. He warns that the Metal Clan monsters of Pontus Ferrum are strong.
If you bring monster parts from Pontus Ferrum, the Sage introduces you to the scientist Leedy, who can analyze them. Leedy pretends to be meeting you for the first time.
Skaild is in love.
Due to Redujin's mistake, you overhear the Sage's conversation. Sage Capella was having a secret conversation with Aizhan. Capella tries to calm Aizhan, saying that it is not yet time, but Aizhan presses Capella forcefully for something.
Eternal Winter
He is in a composed state after the attempted kidnapping incident. Upon learning that someone destroyed the stele of Porta Inferno, he is surprised that it happened too soon. He says that even though the Sage Tower collapsed and split into two factions, touching the power of the Lord of Destruction remains an unspoken taboo. He dispatches you to Arcane Trace as a security administrator to resolve internal problems.
The Prologue to the True Battle
Sage Capella seeks to expand Capella's influence into the Senillinea Continent after hearing Leedy's report. Capella has established a base in the southern part of the continent, while Procyon has established one in the north, and the two are in conflict. Capella dispatches you to Senillinea, saying that you performed well as a security administrator in Arcane Trace. Capella tells you to listen to the local residents there. When you return after hearing their stories, Capella requests your help while asserting the legitimacy of Capella's ideology. Capella says that without the help of the people of Senia, the work Capella can do will be limited, so Capella must reconcile with the locals. Therefore, Capella tells you to help them.
He explains the Southern Forest. The Southern Forest underwent grotesque mutations after the tower's explosion. The mutations are accelerating, and no method can stop them. Capella wants to study the effects of that power. Following his instructions, you find the tree causing the Southern Forest to mutate.
He confesses that he made a mistake and that Turner gained power. Capella says that the worst possible situation has occurred: Turner, whom he thought was being held captive, escaped, and Turner met Aizhan. He apologizes for failing to earn your trust, then explains that he saw through Turner's scheme and tells you about the meeting with Aizhan. Sage Capella meets Leedy face-to-face with a third party present and reveals the truth.
In the past, Capella discovered Senillinea during an expedition outside after the Seal of Patren. During the expedition, he discovered traces of Prometheus in the Senillinean Tower. After hearing the circumstances from Leedy, who had remained in the tower, Capella learned that Prometheus had not disintegrated and was dreaming of making a comeback somewhere. He then formed a temporary alliance with Procyon and decided to share the power of the Lord of Destruction in order to protect Nevareth from Prometheus. He now regrets that decision.
Leedy was selected in the past by Sage Rigel, while Prometheus continued researching the Absolute Soul Core even after the Lord of Destruction disappeared. When Rigel disappeared, Prometheus was shaken but had not vanished. At that time, the Sage who discovered the continent came to the tower, and the Sages used Turner's power to draw out the power of the Absolute Soul Core in the twin sisters. Leedy gave them medicine to control the twin sisters' power. Aizhan lost her memories and her power fell dormant, but the medicine had no effect on Elena and instead amplified her power. To resolve this situation, Capella insists that Turner must be stopped and the twin sisters must be saved, even if it means forming an alliance with Procyon.
When they return with reinforcements, Turner reveals his true nature and confidently confronts the expeditionary force. Turner has already awakened the power of the twin sisters. Sage Procyon and Capella then present opposing views. Procyon says that if the two Souls are merged into one, at least one medium can be saved and that power can also be wielded; since Aizhan's Soul itself is already collapsing, he proposes killing Aizhan and wielding the power through Elena. Capella, on the other hand, warns that the fragment of the Lord of Destruction's Soul has already run amok, making it extremely dangerous and uncontrollable, and that if Elena, who already possesses great power, is revived, the Lord of Destruction will be resurrected through her. Therefore, Capella proposes killing Elena and choosing Aizhan to eliminate the Lord of Destruction's Soul and the power of the Absolute Soul Core entirely.
When Elena is killed after choosing Capella, Procyon objects, but after Elena's death, Procyon says there are no options left and attempts to kidnap Turner and Elena. Turner says that without his power, the power within Aizhan will explode and the continent will be destroyed.
Leedy sends 'me' and Aizhan through the Warp Gate that had been left open in advance for their escape to Leedy's laboratory, then closes the Gate. Inside Leedy's laboratory, Aizhan awakens her power.
The twins are mediums who connect the beginning and end of the world. They have continued to exist through repeated reincarnations. They were originally meant to be a single being (Patren in a previous life), but because of the Wheel of Fate known as the human world, which differs from the previous world (the conflict between Capella and Procyon is an exceptional case within the grand chronicle of the continent of Nevareth), they are divided into two beings, reflecting the form of the continent of Nevareth. Thus, for the sake of this world's order, Aizhan accepts her fate of death and meets her end after promising to be reincarnated once more as a single, merged being.
When they return, Procyon and Turner have already fled, while Capella and the corpse of Leedy, who had fallen and died, remain at the scene. Through her tears, Capella says that Turner and Procyon appear to have been conspiring with the Prometheus organization. Capella admits that her choice was never right and says that the greatest crisis has now arrived and that 'my' power is needed to prevent the continent of Nevareth from falling into Procyon's hands. 'I' cry out and swear that I am not fighting for an ideology or for the Sages' politics, but will fight for my nation and protect the people dear to me through my own free will. I also foresee that, just as the two mediums merge into a single being, the continent of Nevareth will soon find a unified form of its own. However, I realize that, as with the deaths of Aizhan and Elena, such an outcome can never come without a terrible sacrifice. Acknowledging that my existence is the key to fate, an endless succession that continues to create this world, and that I possess every possibility for the future, 'I' swear not to avoid the conflict between the nations of Capella and Procyon, but to confront it to the very end.
