Aizhan is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online.

Background Story

She is the commander of the direct secret escort order of knights that protects Sage Capella. Aizhan secretly carries out the missions assigned by Capella, avoiding the eyes of the people.

Aizhan was originally a child wandering as a refugee in Arcane Trace. Her parents sold her to Sage Capella, and Aizhan became Capella's adopted daughter and received an elite education at the Academy. Therefore, Aizhan considers Capella her benefactor.

After the continent of Nevareth was split in two, Aizhan followed Capella and came to help with the affairs of the Federation. However, while helping “me” under the Sage's orders, she met the healing mage Turner and learned that the soul of the Lord of Destruction and the Absolute Soul Core, the power of destruction, lay dormant within her.

In fact, Aizhan's memories were fake. Originally, Aizhan was one of the twin mediums mobilized for the forbidden experiment conducted at the Senillinean Tower in Senillinea, and she was a vessel meant to contain the soul of the Lord of Destruction.

Activities in Quests

First Meeting

After receiving an order to help Sage Capella, she carries out a mission to find Skaild in accordance with the Sage's orders. She infers Skaild's condition after hearing what kind of medicine Skaild may have taken.

When Aizhan calls and you go to see her, she says it is unfortunate that Skaild could not be found. She says that Skaild lacks passion and must be crying. She points out Illusion Castle Radiant Hall, a castle resembling a vast maze in the deepest part of Illusion Castle Underworld. Pointing out the lack of skill, she tells you to find the courage to proceed.

She enters Illusion Castle Underworld and battles Crusek Faello. She thinks that Skaild is training there through combat. She is dumbfounded when she sees that the clue they found is “Blazing Fireball Experience.” She suggests obtaining a clue for tracking from Guard Tteggi in Desert Scream.

She asks whether there has been any progress in the search for Skaild. She says that Skaild was found but tells you not to tell the Sage. She wonders about it. After hearing what the Sage did, she denies it. She suspects that Skaild might actually be a spy plotting a conspiracy. However, after repeated persuasion, she decides to investigate Skaild's lost memories. Later, she reports the situation to the Sage and lies that Skaild is in a coma.

She visits Leedy and requests that she make an antidote for the medicine that will restore Skaild's lost memories. Leedy tries to refuse, saying it is difficult, but decides to make it after Aizhan persuades her. When told that Eric and Miles are forming a secret society, she says that there will always be dissatisfied people everywhere, but forming an organization is an entirely different matter. Aizhan advises that they must appease the people in the Sage's name and quell their discontent.

Mechanical Beast Armament

The balance among Nevareth's Monster Clans is collapsing. The Knights, including Aizhan, have been secretly trying to restore the balance. However, one of their precious comrades recently lost their life in an unfortunate accident. They warn that something truly alarming is happening in Pontus Ferrum.

Aizhan witnessed her comrade's death right before her eyes and reportedly found it difficult to bear. She says that even the Sage was not present at the time and therefore does not know her true feelings. When she returns safely, they are relieved, saying they were worried because they had not heard from her for so long. They emphasize the need to determine why the monsters continue to increase without end.

They suspect that the mechanical monsters emerging in Pontus Ferrum were not created naturally. Pontus Ferrum was originally completed before the Era of Humans. Therefore, the primordial Metal Clan monsters are said to possess intelligence and a sense of balance. However, the monsters appearing in Pontus Ferrum now seem to have been artificially created. Evidence is needed to prove it. If evidence is brought, they will ask the Sage to analyze it.

After hearing Skaild's confession, Aizhan remembers someone capable of creating mechanical monster weapons. That person was Leedy.

They cannot easily believe it when they hear about Leedy's confession. They are shocked that the Sage created a lethal weapon intended for use against humans.

They stopped the Sage's kidnapping. They then focus on Miles while searching for the culprit. Aizhan suspects the circumstances that left them no choice but to suspect Miles, saying she had not realized the residents' dissatisfaction had grown so severe. She considers the possibility that the Sage was not kidnapped intentionally. For now, she believes it was the work of the opposition, but does not reach a definite conclusion.

Eternal Winter

Saying that she has many memories of Arcane Trace, she suggests first subduing the Furious Rebel. Arcane Trace was originally a peaceful plain untouched by monsters, but it was home to an Academy founded by Capella. However, the situation changed as victims of the War gathered there. The Academy could not accommodate the war refugees, and the victims descended into madness. Now they attack anyone passing through Arcane Trace without listening to what others say.

Aizhan wonders whether her parents are still wandering around Arcane Trace. In fact, Aizhan was also a refugee from Arcane Trace. She reveals that she became Capella's adopted daughter after Capella took pity on her, graduated from the Academy, and became one of Capella's close aides. Aizhan intends to enter Arcane Trace, even if she has to go alone, to find her parents. She asks the refugee leader, who may know her parents' whereabouts, to look into it.

However, Aizhan's memories had actually been fabricated. The refugee leader remembered that the child who had disappeared long ago was a boy, not a girl. After learning the truth, Aizhan suddenly develops a headache. She then abruptly loses contact, and when they visit her again, they find her unconscious and collapsed because of the headache. When they take her to Turner for treatment, Turner recognizes Aizhan, but Aizhan insists that they are meeting for the first time. At the same time, she feels a strange sense of familiarity. Turner suggests taking Aizhan to Leedy, saying that Leedy knows a great deal.

Aizhan demands that Leedy honestly tell her what Leedy knows. When Leedy makes a potion that restores her memories, she recovers the memories she had lost. In fact, only half of Aizhan's Soul remained. Someone really had forcibly split the Soul in two. And Aizhan's memories actually belonged to Turner, because Turner was the one who split Aizhan's Soul in half.

After learning the truth, Aizhan tells them her real memories. She says that she held hands with a girl, met Capella and Procyon, crossed over to another continent rather than Nevareth, and became a vessel for a Soul. Aizhan sets herself the goal of finding the other half of her Soul and asks me to find it for her.

Elena opens a Warp Portal that allows her to see her past. They learn an unexpected fact.

Elena was Aizhan's twin and was being experimented on by Rigel. Rigel managed the twins with a strict attitude, while the twins feared the experiments because they were frightening and painful. However, Rigel becomes angry, saying that the twins easily obtain what Rigel wanted.

Capella Branch

They demand to know whether the person has forgotten their promise. They reveal that it is possible to enter the tower and head together to Senillinean Tower. When they meet Turner at Senillinean Tower, Turner tells Aizhan how to regain her lost life. It involves removing the power of the Absolute Soul Core within the other twin. Turner says the power within the two of them must be removed before it runs wild and that only Turner can do so. Turner asks them to bring an Ent Crystal from the Outrageous Enth in the Southern Forest, intending to use it to resonate with the power within the medium. When they return with the Ent Crystal, Turner checks their condition but says it has no effect because the twins are not gathered together. Turner demands that they bring the twins together quickly.

Procyon Branch

When you visit Elena, she warns that you seem suspicious and threatens to send you to the afterlife. If you reveal the truth about the Love Letter, she treats you as a strange person. When you tell her about Aizhan's existence, she is skeptical, but when you say that you know Leedy, she tries to meet Leedy together with you to verify it. When you meet the distrustful Elena, she is surprised and asks how the two of you met. She says that she promised the Sage that she would never let the two of you meet. That alone is enough for Elena to believe what you say. Elena asks Leedy to keep it secret from the Sage for a while. When you head to the tower together, she says that she wants to hold on to even the smallest hope.

However, once all Material has been gathered and everyone has assembled, Turner reveals his true colors, kidnaps the twin sisters, and drives 'me' out of the tower. When you gather the people and visit him again, Turner, having revealed his true colors, confidently greets the expedition. Turner had already awakened the twin sisters' STR. The two Sages then present opposing views. Procyon says that if the two souls are combined into one, at least one medium can be saved and that the STR can also be harnessed, and suggests killing Aizhan and using Elena to harness the STR because Aizhan's soul is already collapsing. Capella, on the other hand, warns that a Piece of the Lord of Destruction's Soul has already run wild, making it extremely dangerous and impossible to control, and that if Elena, who already possesses great STR, is revived, she will be reborn as the Lord of Destruction. Therefore, Capella suggests killing Elena and choosing Aizhan to completely eliminate the Lord of Destruction's Soul and the STR of the Absolute Soul Core.

When you choose Capella and kill Elena, Procyon objects and tries to kidnap Turner and Elena, saying that with Elena dead, there are no options left. Turner says that without his power, the power inside Aizhan will explode and the continent will be destroyed.

Leedy expels 'me' and Aizhan to Leedy's laboratory through the Warp Gate that had been left open in advance for their escape, then closes the Gate. Inside Leedy's laboratory, Aizhan awakens her power.

The twins are mediums who connect the beginning and end of the world. They have continued to exist through repeated reincarnations. They were originally meant to be one being (Patren in a previous life), but because of the Wheel of Fate known as the human world, which differs from the previous world (the conflict between Capella and Procyon is an exceptional case within the greater chronicle of the continent of Nevareth), they are divided into two beings, reflecting the appearance of the continent of Nevareth. For the order of this world, Aizhan accepts her fate of death and meets her end, promising to be reincarnated again as a single fused being.
