| Patren | An unidentified child. They travel around ancient ruins and other places with Silverwood. It is revealed that she is one of the Guardian Knights among the Six Stars. She seeks to uncover the truth hidden by the Sage Tower. |
| Sage Aldebaran | One of the seven Sages of Sage Tower. His nickname is the Wandering Sage. He spends more time wandering the world than staying at Sage Tower, which is why he received this nickname. He is said to be very interested in the study of ancient history and travels throughout Nevareth to collect related materials. He currently serves as the chief administrator of the Ruins Investigators. In fact, Aldebaran's true purpose is to verify what is really happening in Nevareth and find the spy within Sage Tower. |
| Sage Sirius | One of the seven Sages of Sage Tower. He is respected by the people of Nevareth for his wise and benevolent personality. Although he is known to the public as having died, he was actually the leader of Sword of Guardians, a secret organization of Sage Tower, and was carrying out a secret mission to protect the world. He sets out into the world to prevent the resurrection of the Lord of Destruction. |
| Silverwood | A warrior who travels with Patren. He has extensive knowledge of ancient ruins and is highly skilled, but gives off a somewhat gloomy impression. He plans to travel with Patren, defeat the clan masters, collect ASC Pieces, and then seize them. |
| Mystic Blade | An unidentified blind adventurer. He has a very bad relationship with Silverwood. Silverwood is also the reason he became blind, but he never mentions his past. He joins Sword of Guardians and pursues Patren with them. |
| Researcher Heil | A researcher under Sage Tower. He has outstanding abilities in analyzing symbols and samples. As a result, work pours in from all directions. |
| Nine | A girl who graduated from the Academy with excellent grades and became the youngest researcher at Sage Tower. However, she suddenly stole Sage Tower's secrets and disappeared. She is currently being pursued by Sage Tower. |
| Sage Rigel | One of the seven Sages of Sage Tower. A Sage who rarely reveals himself to the world and has a mysterious image because of his quiet nature. According to those who have met him, he has a highly cynical view of the human world. |
| Skaild | A troublesome runaway who was once a candidate to become the head of the Miz Family. He boasts excessively and deceives many people. He is even being pursued by Miz after stealing a family heirloom when he ran away from home. |
Quest Scenario Summary
- Class (Lv. 1-5) ‘I’ set foot in a new world for the first time. At the Special Administration Colony, an Officer trains me in combat and everyday living skills.
- Bloody Ice/Desert Scream/Green Despair (Lv. 6-10) After proving my abilities by fulfilling the villagers’ requests, I swear an oath at the Altar and am appointed as a special trainee by the Officer.
- Anomalies (Lv. 10-19) Strange things are happening throughout Nevareth. The merchant guild was attacked by the Thief Guild and Giant Snake. People are disappearing in Bloody Ice, an epidemic is spreading, and the number of zombies is increasing. The expedition team in Green Despair has gone missing. The mages conducting mining operations were attacked by the Plant Clan. The dark wizards who appeared in the desert vanished along with the people. Asked by Officers to solve problems in various places, I uncover the connections between the recent incidents. After learning this, the Officers of the Colony convene a meeting to devise countermeasures.
- Prologue (Lv. 20-29) Recommended by Officer Dunhaik, I join Veradrix’s Ruins Investigators and discover a Shining Relic at the ruins. To uncover the truth behind this problem, I search for the missing Grand Sage Sirius. After searching, I find Sirius living in Bloody Ice while concealing his identity as Captain Mark. Sirius tells me that the Six Dark Stars are about to awaken and that I am the prophetic figure, the “Warrior’s Star,” instructing me to find the four Guardian Knights and the King’s Consort.
- Spread of Heresy (Lv. 24-33) Side While I was investigating ruins in the middle of the desert, heresy was spreading throughout Nevareth. As the damage worsens, I am dispatched to carry out a mission, uncover the connection between the Dark Clan and heresy, and eliminate the Heresists.
- The King’s Consort and the Guardian Knights (Lv. 30-38) Together with Sirius, I interpret the Apocalypse Card and find the King’s Consort and the Guardian Knights. The King’s Consort was Arionell, while the Guardian Knights were Sage Veradrix, Warrior Yuan, Freed, and Lin of the Thief Guild. I visit them and tell them of their mission. All six stars, except for the King’s Star, are gathered.
- The Monster Clan’s Provocation (Lv. 39-42) The Plant Clan suddenly begins to rampage. My investigation reveals that the incident in which humans were attacked occurred because the Mage Guild provoked the Plant Clan first. Officer Shooterburk and Veradrix tell me of the existence of the Absolute Soul Core and suspect the force behind the Mage Guild.
- The King Disappears (Lv. 43-57) Sirius tells me that Silverwood and Patren are respectively the Knight of Immorality and the King, and asks me to prevent Patren from awakening as the Lord of Destruction through the power of darkness. I rescue Patren from Silverwood and learn that the secret society Prometheus is behind the anomalies that occurred in Nevareth. Sirius tells me about the existence of the ASC Controller, which can control ASC, and that Patren may be the Lord of Destruction created from the sealed Lord of Destruction’s clone.
- Dark Wizard Guild (Lv. 52-55) Side At Veradrix’s request, I begin investigating the Mage Guild. I learn that there may be a Prometheus spy among the high-ranking members of the Sage Tower. To find the Absolute Soul Core, Prometheus used the Mage Guild to join forces with the Metal Clan and attack the Plant Clan.
- Prologue (Lv. 52-52) Side Officer Morrison asks me a question: What are you fighting for here? He advises me to support either Sage Capella or Sage Procyon. A new war is approaching.
- Burying Sorrow (Lv. 58-64) Prometheus begins to move in earnest. It is revealed that the traitor within the Sage Tower is Rigel. My companions die one after another.
- The Truth About Prometheus (Lv. 65-72) The group splits into three, each pursuing their own objective. I head to Fort. Ruina. It is revealed that the missing Nine was infected with poison from The Vampire and acted as a spy, and that the leader of Prometheus was the Sage Rigel from two generations earlier.
- The Origin of the Lord of Destruction (Lv. 73-76) Patren begins to run wild as he awakens as the Lord of Destruction. Colonies throughout the land are attacked by monsters.
- In Search of the Land of Death (Lv. 77-79) It is revealed that the Undead Clan and Prometheus are working together. I learn the location of the ASC Controller from Heil, but cannot find it immediately.
- The Kingslayer’s Mission (Lv. 80-87) I obtain the Final Apocalypse Card from the Phantasmal Clan. Veradrix dies while trying to protect Patren. Patren decides to seal himself.
- Dismantling the Source of the Great Destruction (Lv. 88-97) The ASC Controller was hidden in the Tower of Undead. I destroy the ASC Controller and thwart Prometheus's purpose. However, I was unable to stop Patren's rampage. By sealing Patren at the Altar of Eternity, I prevent the Great Destruction from occurring and Nevareth from being destroyed. However, Nevareth is now destined to split in two, making war between both sides inevitable.
- Ominous Signs of War (Lv. 95-95) Side In the aftermath of the Lord of Destruction's resurrection, major events are unfolding across the entire continent. War erupts among Polis, and the monsters also run amok. At the Tower of the Sage, Procyon and Capella declare independence in order to claim the Sage's legacy. Now I must choose one faction.
- Strange Traveler Skaild (Lv. 95-112) Suddenly, I receive a message from someone named Skaild. Skaild is a boastful adventurer who spouts nonsense.

While I was being appointed as a special trainee, all kinds of incidents occurred throughout the Nevareth continent. A war nearly broke out between Judin and Medenark, and a real dispute arose among the merchant guilds. Desert Scream Guard Tteggi reports that there are also rumors that mutated monsters attacked a merchant guild. Officer Dunhaik tells me that it is not merely a rumor but the truth. However, the situation requires investigation, as it cannot be believed without question. Dunhaik asks me to obtain a monster sample. At his request, I bring back a sample of a monster identical to the Giant Snake submitted by the merchant guild. However, it appears impossible to distinguish them with the naked eye.
Dunhaik suggests seeking Heil's assistance. Heil is a specialist researcher from the Sage Tower laboratory responsible for Colony affairs. He is exceptionally skilled at this kind of analysis, but his eccentric personality is a drawback. Heil has released monsters around the laboratory to prevent anyone from entering and block people's access. When I make my way through the monsters and find Heil, he is amazed that I managed to find him despite being only a novice trainee. However, when I ask him to handle the task, he grumbles about why everyone is asking him to analyze samples these days. Just as I am about to leave after assigning him the work, Heil runs after me and demands that I fulfill a request of his as well. Since he cannot budge from his post because of all the sample analyses lately, he asks me to deliver the analysis results for a Zombie blood sample to Bloody Ice in his place. When I accept, he mocks me, saying that an epidemic is spreading in Bloody Ice these days and that I should be careful if I want to stay alive.
When I visit Officer Henkoff in Bloody Ice at Heil's request, Henkoff is extremely busy with Colony affairs. Recently, after the Thief Guild raided the merchant guilds, Colony and Polis personnel were assigned to suppress the Thief Guild. With public security weakened, Zombies are rapidly increasing, epidemics are spreading, and people are disappearing. Henkoff suspects a connection between the growing Zombie population, the epidemic, and the missing people, and says he had been waiting for the sample analysis results. When I deliver Heil's report, he is horrified to learn that an infectious pathogen is present in Zombie blood.
After much thought, Henkoff says he does not believe that Zombies spread the epidemic. The reason for the increase in the Zombie population and the whereabouts of the missing people remained unexplained. Unfortunately, Colony had no personnel available to investigate the matter immediately, so Henkoff asks me to investigate Ghost Villa, a Zombie habitat. In the old, musty villa Henkoff told me about, I find a Beaded Necklace. It was a gift Prewitt made for her niece. Henkoff concludes that the missing epidemic patients are turning into Zombies and tells me that the Colony Alliance and Polis authorities have decided to prevent the epidemic from spreading throughout Nevareth. The only solution was to burn the camps, along with the people who had turned into Zombies or were in the process of mutating. Henkoff hands me a Torch to burn down the camps, saying it is unavoidable to protect more lives. As I go around the camps setting them on fire, the half-Zombified people burn to death.
After I finish dealing with the Zombies, Henkoff allows me to spend a vacation in Green Despair as a reward for my hard work. Green Despair is a jungle-like place. Officer Shooterburk, whom I meet there, is surprised to learn that I carried out the mission decided at the Colony Alliance meeting, but reassures me that I did well. He says I prevented the tragedy of all Nevareth being overrun by Zombies and saved countless lives. During a brief rest, Shooterburk summons me. An abnormal phenomenon was occurring in Green Despair as well, with mutated monsters appearing, so Colony dispatched an expedition team to determine the cause. However, contact with the expedition team was lost. Before disappearing, the team collected and sent samples of Dire Boar and Plant Toad and was trying to obtain a sample of Troglo King as its final task. Shooterburk asks me to find the missing expedition team and obtain a sample of Troglo King. Obtaining the Troglo King sample is no problem, but I cannot find the expedition team and return with only its records.
Shooterburk reads the expedition team’s journal and finds clues in the records: “soil at the Red Jungle border,” “parasitic plants,” and “minerals.” The jungle expedition had nearly discovered the cause of the jungle mutation. Shooterburk asks me to collect a soil sample at the Red Jungle border and have Researcher Heil analyze it together with the Troglo King sample. When it came to sample analysis, no one in Nevareth could match Heil.
When I collect the samples and return to Heil, he accepts the request despite grumbling. Heil says that his analysis revealed the mutation in Green Despair was caused by parasitic plants in the soil, and he also teaches me how to stop them. A substance contained in the minerals was an especially effective remedy for eliminating the parasitic plants.
Heil tells me the location of a Disused Mine in Bloody Ice where I can obtain minerals. When I go there, I encounter a fallen mage. The mage says that they were suddenly attacked and wiped out by monsters from the Plant Clan, then dies. When I return and report the situation, Shooterburk wonders why the mages were trying to mine the minerals, what they intended to do with them, and why the Plant Clan attacked the mages. Shooterburk determines that the recent abnormalities on each continent are closely connected and concludes that a meeting of Colony officers must be held. Shooterburk asks me to find Dunhaik in Desert Scream and deliver a request to hold an officers' meeting.
When I visit him, Dunhaik welcomes me, saying he had heard about my exploits. After hearing Shooterburk's request for a meeting, Dunhaik says he had already been considering one. Analysis of the Giant Snake sample collected earlier suggests that mages may have been involved in the monsters' mutations. Merchant guilds cannot induce monsters to mutate, but it would not be difficult for mages. However, there is no conclusive physical evidence.
Dunhaik asks me to search for a group of Dark Mages that appeared in the desert while he is away at the meeting. Dark Mages are mages who study ancient ruins in secret. Recently, several people have disappeared along with the Dark Mages. Dunhaik tells me to inquire with the magic merchant Sullivan.
Magic Merchant Sullivan says that although he had heard the rumors, he took no interest because there was nothing to gain. Instead, he recommends visiting Armor Merchant Dion. When you visit Armor Merchant Dion, Dion says that he recently spoke with someone whose younger sibling had disappeared after following a Black Mage. The missing sibling reportedly muttered, “A new world, the sealed lion,” before disappearing. Dion says that the person may have purchased supplies from the Eileen siblings and tells you to visit them.
Eileen remembered the person whose younger sibling had disappeared. Although that person had left no special message, Eileen tells you that she had heard rumors that the Black Mages were looking for something sealed at an ancient ruin site. She says that the Black Mages go around claiming that, when the world is destroyed, the only ones who can be saved are those who join them.
While investigating the Black Mages, Dunhaik returns from the meeting. Dunhaik tells you that he concluded the Mage Guild was involved in all the strange phenomena that have occurred so far. However, he was unable to decide on a countermeasure. When you tell Dunhaik the results of your investigation into the Black Mages, he instinctively senses the existence of someone behind them. “I” feel the foreboding of something and, although afraid, feel as if fate is leading me.

The 8th Sage Veradrix visits Desert Scream with the Ruins Investigators. With the exception of the 7 Sages, Veradrix is the highest-ranking person in Sage Tower. Although physically weak, Veradrix was appointed as the 8th Sage because of exceptional ability. When Veradrix asks Dunhaik to recommend an outstanding trainee, Dunhaik reportedly recommends “me.”
Veradrix introduces Blader Yuan, and the two exchange greetings. Yuan treats them rather curtly. Veradrix explains the real reason he called the two of them. Officially, they are to support the Ruins Investigators, but in reality, they have a mission that requires them to operate unofficially.
At the Ruins Investigators, they meet Aldebaran. Aldebaran is known as the Wandering Sage. He earned this nickname because he wanders from place to place rather than remaining in Sage Tower. Once the introductions are over, Aldebaran introduces the other members: Expedition Leader Bane, Freed, Aike, Arionell, and others.
Bane is a researcher affiliated with Sage Tower. Freed is Bane's son's friend and a former treasure hunter. He joined the expedition at Bane's persuasion. Arionell is from the renowned Cruise Family of Force Magic and has a clumsy personality. It is said that Aldebaran recruited her after she accidentally summoned an ancient, powerful summon while using magic. Aike joined because he wanted to be recognized as an administrator of Sage Tower. He currently takes care of the aftermath of Arionell's mishaps.
Aldebaran takes a liking to me and asks me to receive instructions from Veradrix and deliver them to Bane. Two instructions have come down from Sage Tower. One is to expand the investigation area, and the other is to immediately transport the artifacts excavated because of the Thief Guild to Sage Tower. The Thief Guild has recently been committing all kinds of misdeeds. However, Bane reacts strangely when told that the Thief Guild is causing trouble.
Bane makes a secret request. He says that he knows the Thief Guild's Master Rin well and that Rin is not someone who would do such things. In fact, Rin was Bane's first love. Bane asks me to find out what happened within the Thief Guild. When I go to the place Bane told me about, I meet the injured Rin. When I mention Bane's name, Rin remembers Bane.
When asked about what the Thief Guild has been doing on the continent recently, Rin explains what happened, saying that Rin would never order such despicable acts. Rin originally operated as a righteous thief. However, when Rin's subordinate Kashu staged a coup, Rin was expelled from the Thief Guild. Rin passes out while vowing revenge against Kashu. When Rin is rescued, Bane expresses his gratitude.
Suddenly, a message arrives from the Nevareth Port Express. After receiving Nadler's summons, you head to Green Despair. Nadler says that Aike sent for you. When you return to the Ruins Research Camp, Aike asks for your help. Arionell and Freed have not returned from the area even though it is past the time they were due back. Aike goes to find Arionell, while you split off to look for Freed.
You find Freed in Area 2. Freed introduces you to the people he met at the ruins. They are a young boy and a young man. The two, who introduce themselves as Patren and Silverwood, say that they are traveling in search of the ruins of an ancient civilization. Freed plans to recommend them as members of the expedition because of their extensive knowledge of ancient ruins and their skill. However, Freed had forgotten to pass on the message.
While investigating Area 2, they discovered a shining relic deep inside, but even the three of them together could not move it. They ask you to retrieve it instead, saying that they are too exhausted to go inside. When you enter the inner part of the ruins, you find a relic that is indeed emitting light. When you touch it, the light disappears, revealing a card.
When you return to the Ruins Research Camp, Freed welcomes you. He says that everyone around him scolded him for leaving you alone. He suggests reporting the shining card to Aldebaran. Aldebaran says that the card seemed to react only to you and that he does not know what it is either. He says that to find out, you will need the wisdom of the vanished former Sage Sirius.
Sirius is referring specifically to the former Sage Sirius. The former Sage handed over his position and suddenly disappeared one day. No one knows where he went. Aldebaran says that your special power might lead you to Sirius and tells you to trust it. Aldebaran recommends Veradrix as someone who may know Sirius's whereabouts.
Veradrix asks whether you are looking for Sirius because of the relic. He says that Sirius is also important to Veradrix. Before Sirius left, he met Sullivan, the magic merchant of Desert Scream. Sullivan admits to meeting Sirius, but says that they did not discuss anything special; he only felt that Sirius seemed to be looking for something. Sullivan recommends that you meet Cox, who spoke with Sirius before he did.
Cox says that Sirius came secretly and sent a message through Port Service to the Eileen siblings, who run a general store. Eileen remembered the letter she had received. She says that Sirius had originally cared for the Eileen siblings, but sent the letter saying that he had to leave because he had something to take care of. He also left a way to contact him for use in an emergency. Eileen says that she left it in the warehouse and will look for it and let you know.
A message is delivered through Deighton, the general merchant. It says that the eccentric old man known as Captain Mark, who lives in a secluded place in Bloody Ice, is the vanished former Sage Sirius, and that no one noticed. Sirius's exact location is said to be inside the furnace in Bloody Ice's coal mine. You find a record that did not melt in the coal mine.
When you arrive, Sirius guesses that you came to him through the Eileen siblings. Sirius asks why you came, saying that he does not think the siblings would have revealed his location to just anyone. When you tell him that Aldebaran sent you, Sirius says that although he has lived under a false identity, he has always worried about them. After taking some time to collect his thoughts, Sirius tells you an important story.
A thousand years ago, an event occurred in which all civilizations were destroyed by shifts in the Earth's crust and tidal waves. This is known as the Great Destruction. The people living on the continent of Nevareth were descendants of the survivors. However, according to prophecy, the Great Destruction will occur again a thousand years later. The Seven Stars, one of which is the King's Star, will prevent it. “If the King's Star possesses the power of darkness, the Six Dark Stars will regain their light and create a world of darkness; conversely, if it possesses the power of light, the Six Stars of Light will combine their power and save the world.” The six Stars of Light other than the King's Star consist of the King's Consort, four Guardian Knights, and the Warrior's Star that leads them. Only after the Warrior's Star rises will the King meet the King's Consort and oppose the Six Dark Stars.
However, the card you originally brought could not have its seal released by just anyone. The card is the Sage's legacy: a sealed card of the Apocalypse capable of awakening the Six Stars of Light. In other words, by bringing it here, you are the sixth Warrior's Star and the person of prophecy. The fate of the world now rests in your hands.
Sirius says that the strange signs occurring on the continent of Nevareth may be omens that the Six Dark Stars are awakening or that the Great Destruction is about to begin. You must decipher the card's symbols and find the remaining four Guardian Knights and the King's Consort. You realize why you were born into this world and what you must do from now on, and resolve to follow your destiny.

- Interrogating the Heresists
While you were focused on investigating the ruins in the desert, Heresists were spreading throughout Nevareth. The Heresists were especially rampant across the Pastur Continent. Aldebaran wants this problem resolved. You are advised to meet Carter, the harbor manager in Green Despair. He is guarding the passage and should know the rumors well.
Carter investigates after hearing a rumor that there is an outstanding person among the Colony trainees. He says that suspicious people wearing black cloaks, with snow-white faces and cold eyes, have been entering the harbor for some time. They seemed suspicious, but there was no reason to stop them, so he let them pass. Looking back, he thinks they may have been Heresist missionaries. After they entered Green Despair, Heresists began spreading across the Pastur Continent, and Collins's son ran away from home. Collins sheds tears every day because of this, and Carter feels sorry.
When you visit Collins to deliver Carter's consolation money, Collins is preparing to close his Shop for a while because of his son's disappearance. Collins refuses the consolation money and only hopes that his son will return. Collins asks you to find his son. He says he can give you his entire fortune, not just the consolation money, if you do. He tells you about a cabin in the Mutated Jungle where Heresists gather. When you search the cabin, you find Collins's son Ben unconscious. The joy of finding him is short-lived; even after some time passes, Ben does not return to his original state. He looks as if he has lost his mind.
Collins says that seeing his son in that state is too painful to bear and asks you to obtain the heart of the Giant Spider. He says that people who have lost their minds because of the Heresists will return to their senses if they drink a decoction made from a Spider's heart. Once you bring back the heart, Ben returns to his original state.
Collins explains that, according to his son, the Heresists were preparing a ritual for some ceremony. No one knows what the ceremony was for, but it was dangerous enough to shake the world, and the Heresists had marked and guarded the Moscutter intended as a sacrifice. Collins says that Libert, the general goods merchant, knows a great deal and should know about this. When you visit Libert and ask about it, he turns pale upon seeing the mark on the Moscutter. He says marking sacrifices for a ceremony is a habit of the Dark Clan and tells you to report it to Shooterburk. Shooterburk is already troubled by investigating the people who recently returned after falling in with the Heresists.
Shooterburk becomes pensive upon hearing that the Dark Clan is behind the Heresists. It reminded him of how the Mage Guild was behind the jungle mutation phenomenon. Shooterburk wants to investigate the Heresists' true identity and the conspiracy they are plotting. He asks you to visit Nadler.
Nadler's brother had run away from home and has now returned. There is nothing particularly noteworthy, but Nadler's brother is troubled that he could not leave the Heresists with the girl who followed the cult leader. Nodaka's sister also returned with Nadler's brother, and he recommends that you meet her.
Nodaka's sister knew about the ritual they were preparing to perform. She says she believed that the world would be destroyed and a new world created when the ritual ended. However, she left after the Heresist leadership treated and controlled people like slaves and even mobilized Plant monsters for battle. Nodaka recommends that you meet Sean.
Guard Sean's mother was also one of those who returned. She witnessed Dark Clan monsters and black-cloaked mages associating with the cult leader. She informs you that the Heresists' main base seems to be near the icy mountains of Bloody Ice. After receiving the report, Shooterburk is frustrated that the Sage Tower is doing nothing. However, Colony also lacks the personnel to carry out a sweep, so he asks me to determine the facts. While investigating the Heresist hideout, I find and bring back an injured Heresist who had collapsed.
When you interrogate the Heresist, the Heresist leaves behind a cryptic statement instead of confessing willingly. “They will become strongest on the night of the full moon, and everything will stand at our feet.” Shooterburk does not understand what it means either, but he thinks of a connection to The Vampire. There was a legend that The Vampire grew stronger by receiving the moon's energy during a full moon. However, The Vampire is a monster of the Undead Clan, while the Dark Clan is behind the Heresists. Perhaps there may also be a relationship between the Mage Guild and the Undead Clan. I wonder what the outcome will be at the end of this.

Sirius calls after finishing deciphering the card. He says he found four symbols but could not interpret them. Therefore, he instructs [the player] to consult Researcher Heil, the finest expert in Nevareth. Researcher Heil responds curtly, but cannot refuse when told that the request comes from Sirius.
Following Sirius's recommendation, Heil quickly interprets the symbols. The seeker of truth who has forgotten death is Skeleton Mage; the warrior unable to sleep in the land of scorching heat is Special Mummy; the immense desire gazing upon a blood-red world is Huge Spider; and the gathering atop an altar amid swirling snowstorms is the Snowstorm Altar in Bloody Ice. They say that those who unravel the thousand-year-old secrets at the Snowstorm Altar will obtain what they seek. After solving all the secrets at the Altar, they obtain the Second Apocalypse Card.
Sirius begins deciphering the symbols on the second Apocalypse Card. They reveal the location on a map where the Memorial Core can be found. When they obtain the map from Desert Mummy Village and locate the Memorial Core in full, the faces of Veradrix, Rin, Yuan, and Freed come to mind. Veradrix, the Guardian Knight of light who protects the King. Yuan, the Guardian Knight of light who can stand against the King. Rin, the Guardian Knight who has become the King's shadow. Freed, the Guardian Knight of light who will succeed the King.
When they go to the place where the expedition team has gathered and tell them the fate of the Guardian Knights, they are all astonished. Thus, all five stars except the King's Consort gather together. Sirius says that although the destiny of one's life may seem to arrive suddenly, it was actually foretold long ago. The last remaining King's Consort can be found through the third Apocalypse Card. However, deciphering the remaining symbols on the Second Apocalypse Card once again requires Heil's help. More precisely, they need the Ancient Deciphering Book in Heil's possession. But Heil disappeared without a trace some time ago. They must find Heil's whereabouts.
When they visit Keller, the magic merchant who was close to Heil, and ask about Heil's recent situation, Keller says that Heil became addicted to gambling. He says that Heil disappeared because of gambling debts. Keller tells them to go ask Nodaka in Green Despair. Nodaka says that Heil is hiding in a specially sealed laboratory while being pursued by gambling debts. Only Heil himself can undo the Seal. Nodaka devises a plan and gives them a Smoke Bomb so that Heil will undo the Seal himself. If they use the Smoke Bomb, Heil will think there is a fire and open the door himself.
When they use the Smoke Bomb to create smoke as Nodaka suggested, Heil rushes out. Heil refuses, saying that although he would like to give them the Ancient Deciphering Book, he does not have it with him now. In fact, he says that he entrusted the book to Tesky and borrowed Money. They have no choice but to repay Tesky and retrieve the Ancient Deciphering Book. Heil says that Tesky will not hand over the Ancient Deciphering Book unless they bring a top-quality magical Material such as the Parasitic Mushroom found in Red Jungle.
If you find a Parasitic Mushroom in Red Jungle and visit Tesky, Tesky gives you the Ancient Deciphering Book despite being reluctant to part with it. When you return the Ancient Deciphering Book to Heil, Heil calls his gambling addiction insane and says he will lend you the Ancient Deciphering Book for one day. However, he warns you not to spread the word that he is here, as it would be troublesome if his creditors came after him.
Sirius begins deciphering the final symbol using the Ancient Deciphering Book. The remaining symbols of the Apocalypse are as follows: a sky swept by a blizzard, a land of mountain ranges covered in glaciers, and a door that opens when five stars come together. Sirius believes this is a mission that requires the five stars to work together. After pulling the lever together with four other companions in the underground bunker of Ice Mountain east of Bloody Ice to break the Seal, the third Apocalypse Card is released from the Seal.
The third Apocalypse Card identifies Arionell as the King's Consort. Sirius says he thought Arionell was an immature and weak child, and never expected him to have to bear such a heavy burden. When you visit Arionell to tell him his fate and show him the card, Arionell sees an illusion of a small boy. After seeing a boy being confined in the Space of Eternity, Arionell realizes his own fate. Arionell joins them, saying that he judged it right to accept the fate of protecting the world. Thus, all six stars except the final King's Star come together. Sirius encourages them, saying that the fate of Nevareth rests in their hands, and tells them that they must find the King's Star before it awakens with the power of darkness and make it awaken with the power of light instead. The forces of darkness coveting the Lord of Destruction's legacy are also searching for the King, and the King will not be far from the Six Stars of Light. However, even Sirius did not know how to find the King's Star.

Henkoff urgently calls you. He says that a request for assistance has come in because something strange was discovered in Green Despair. When you meet Shooterburk, he tells you that a report came in that the bodies of the jungle expedition that went missing some time ago were found deep in Red Jungle. Shooterburk wants you to find them and have Heil perform an autopsy.
When you find the body and bring it to Heil, Heil grumbles but takes on the job, saying there is something suspicious about it. In return, he asks you to resolve one of his problems as well. Some time ago, monsters from the Plant Clan attacked people. During that incident, a courier's advanced Weapon commissioned by the arms dealer Mitroff was taken by Plant monsters. As a result, he has not even received payment.
Plant Clan Rare. When you find the weapon there and bring it to Mitroff, Mitroff thanks you and says he will deposit the money with Heil. Mitroff complains that the Plant Clan monsters have been running wild lately, and that no one, whether the police or the colony, is telling him anything. When you ask Shooterburk about this, Shooterburk says he was sweating over Mitroff's complaints.
After receiving Heil's autopsy results, Shooterburk suspects that they were attacked because the Mage Guild provoked the Plant Clan. He says that the Mage Guild seems to have provoked the Plant Clan even after the Disused Mine incident. The autopsy results are an important clue that raises suspicions about the existence of a hidden force within the Mage Guild. Until now, the Monster Clan and humans have lived while maintaining a balance with each other, but that balance is now about to be broken. Since this can no longer be overlooked, he says he must report it to the Sage Tower and asks you to deliver the report to Veradrix.
Veradrix tells you that, after receiving the report, the hidden force behind the Mage Guild is after the Absolute Soul Core. The Absolute Soul Core is the most secret of secrets, passed down only to the sages even within the Sage Tower. Known as ASC for short, it is the source of the power that caused the Great Destruction a thousand years ago. It was later divided into seven Pieces, six of which came to be held by the Master of each Monster Clan. The final seventh Piece is held by the King's Star. The final Piece is the strongest, but anyone who acquires two or more Pieces becomes unbeatable. This is why the King must be found quickly.

Veradrix says that the existence of ASC is being revealed covertly and that we must hurry our actions. First, Veradrix asks us to inform the investigators of ASC's existence and deliver the report intended for Aldebaran. When we return to the investigation camp, the other members have each gone to their assigned areas, leaving only Bane. Bane says that Patren and Freed are moving together and that Silverwood disappeared without a word. Bane gives us an activity report, saying that he will tell the members about ASC when they return.
When we return to Veradrix, we learn that Aldebaran came by but went to Sage Tower first because of an urgent matter, and asked us to protect Nine. Nine was Sage Tower's youngest researcher, but fled with classified information some time ago. Sage Tower had therefore been pursuing Nine. However, Veradrix and Aldebaran say that they trust Nine. We must find and protect Nine before Sage Tower does.
Nine had been hiding out in Bloody Ice. Nine asks Henkoff for support, but Henkoff refuses to carry out the mission, saying that the Colony has no troops. Instead, Henkoff says that he will help if there is anything he can do. He says he will patrol only after Nine's memo is found and brought to him.
The patrol reportedly discovered, unexpectedly, a deep cave that had not existed before. The patrol suspects that it is a Vampire Lair. When you enter the Vampire Lair alone, Arionell is sobbing inside. Arionell suddenly asks whether you came to rescue Aike and Nine. It turns out that Aike and Arionell witnessed Nine being kidnapped while investigating the ruins. Aike entered the Vampire Lair to rescue Nine, but there has been no word from him.
After rescuing both Aike and Nine from the Vampire Lair, you unexpectedly witness Silverwood. When you return to the camp, Veradrix is about to depart to provide support. Veradrix says that Silverwood kidnapped Patren, who had been with Freedrun, and disappeared. Veradrix plans to investigate why Nine was kidnapped by a vampire monster once Nine awakens, but Nine's condition is worsening after being infected with vampire venom. To recover from the poisoning, Nine must drink a mixture of antidotes from the Undead Clan, the Mutant Clan, and the Plant Clan. Rin and Yuan have each set out to obtain the antidotes from the Undead Clan and Plant Clan. Veradrix asks you to obtain the antidote from the Mutant Clan Lair. While obtaining the antidote in Desert Scream, you discover an Armband Fragment lying near the medicine cabinet. When you show the armband to Veradrix, Veradrix says that Rin and Yuan also brought back the same Armband Fragment. Veradrix says it may be an important clue, but focuses on treating Nine for now. Later, Aldebaran returns to the investigation team's camp after hearing about Nine.
Aldebaran marvels that you have become much stronger than before. When you fit together the armband discovered while obtaining the antidote with Aldebaran, one piece is missing. Unexpectedly, Nine had the last piece. Nine says that it was torn from Silverwood's forearm, and when the pieces are fitted together, a complete armband is formed. Veradrix suspects that Silverwood has been attacking Monster Clans together with Patren. When you show the armband to Sirius, Sirius explains that it symbolizes the Knight of Immorality.
It is the symbol of the Six Dark Stars and the Knight who usurps the King's power. Judging from Silverwood's actions, Sirius says that Patren seems to have been born with the destiny of the King. You must rescue Patren from Silverwood at once. Otherwise, Patren may awaken as the Lord of Destruction through the power of darkness. When you tell the Knights of Light about this, every one of your companions blames themselves. Yuan suggests that you split up and search for Patren. Since Silverwood will take Patren around until he finds ASC anyway, Yuan suggests that you look for a Monster Clan that has not yet been attacked.
Following Yuan's suggestion, you search the Plant Clan Rare in Green Despair. You find Patren there with Silverwood. When you return with the unconscious Patren, Arionell volunteers to nurse him while sobbing.
Patren feels guilty because of everything that has happened. Patren says that Silverwood killed members of the Sword of Guardians indiscriminately, and that Patren also had to fight monsters during it all. Patren did not want to hurt anyone, but it was impossible to control his power. When you return to Aldebaran, Aldebaran teaches you about the Sword of Guardians organization. The Sword of Guardians is a group that protects the King's Star, including the Six Stars of Light. Aldebaran says that now that the King has been recovered, only the mission of uncovering and eliminating the forces of darkness remains.
Meanwhile, Nine recovers. Nine says that while at the Sage Tower, Nine happened to discover who was behind the incident that caused a stir in Nevareth. The secret organization Prometheus. They are said to live while concealing their identities everywhere, including the Sage Tower, Polis, and Colony. They were also behind the abnormal phenomena that have occurred so far. Even Patren was a clone created from the genes of the Lord of Destruction from a thousand years ago according to their resurrection plan for the Lord of Destruction.
When Nine escaped from the Sage Tower, Nine stole a map showing the location of Prometheus's Base. That was why Prometheus pursued Nine. Unfortunately, Nine lost the map while evading the pursuit. You must collect both the Hidden Map and the Concealed Map to find Prometheus's Base.
You obtain the Hidden Map from Ghost+ and find the Concealed Map in Port Lux, but the map is too badly damaged to be legible. Nine says that the map must be restored by Heil. Heil takes on the map restoration job while grumbling. Meanwhile, an urgent message arrives from Port Service. Freed has summoned you, saying that it is urgent.
Freed captures a member of the Dark Clan while investigating the Heresist who infiltrated Port Lux with Rin and Yuan. However, the prisoner refuses to divulge anything. Freed and Yuan recommend that you interrogate the prisoner with an electric shock device. At the end of the interrogation, the prisoner begins to disclose information. The prisoner says that it is true that the Heresist led the revival of the cult and joined forces with Prometheus, but that the prisoner did not follow Prometheus from the beginning. The ASC Pieces held by the Monster Clan masters are drawn to one another's power. The prisoner says that each of them sensed the power of the seventh Piece and began acting to obtain it. However, Prometheus was searching not only for ASC but also for an object capable of controlling that power. The group ends the interrogation, wondering what it could be.
The map that you asked Heil to restore arrives. However, it is difficult to understand because it is filled entirely with symbols. Heil disappears again as soon as the restoration is complete. With no other option, you take the map to Sirius. Sirius says that he has also examined ancient documents and records. During this, Sirius discovers that Saint Valentine mentioned the ASC Controller while sealing the Lord of Destruction. Sirius suspects that Prometheus knew of the ASC Controller's existence and proceeded with its plan, and says that he will find Heil and ask him to interpret the symbols on the map.

Word arrives that Veradrix has visited the residence in Port Lux. He praises you for all your hard work. Aldebaran has been continuing to investigate the spy within the Sage Tower, while Veradrix has come to investigate with the Mage Guild as his focus. Veradrix believes the suspicious movements of the Heresist and the Mage Guild are related to Prometheus and asks you to visit Tesky, a magical Researcher in Green Despair, and question him. Tesky was once an executive of the Mage Guild, so he is believed to have a scroll containing information.
Tesky remembered taking Heil's ancient interpretation book in the past. When asked to hand over the Mage Guild's scroll, he explains what happened. He says that discord arose within the Mage Guild when suspicious dark wizards joined it. Disliking this, Tesky left the Mage Guild and began conducting independent research. Veradrix concludes that Tesky, who is blunt and outspoken, must have taken a liking to him since he handed over the scroll so easily.
You learn the location of the Mage Guild Laboratory through the magical scroll. It was near the lighthouse on the southern coast of Port Lux. After investigating the laboratory, you find a mage's book and a suspicious bottle of blue liquid. Veradrix deciphers the documents day and night, to the point that Morrison grows concerned, and finds a mention of Fort. Ruina within them. Fort. Ruina is a place reserved exclusively for those belonging to the upper ranks of the Sage Tower. Its mention in the Mage Guild's documents was proof that a traitor definitely existed within the Sage Tower. Veradrix cannot believe that someone he knows could be the spy.
Yerte the magic merchant investigates the bottle of blue liquid found with the mage's book and says it appears to have been extracted from minerals while gathering underground resources. However, this was something only special machinery of the Metal Clan, not a mage, could accomplish. The fact that the Mage Guild joined forces with the Metal Clan to create a substance for attacking the Plant Clan reminds Veradrix of the report that once came from Green Despair. I wonder what Prometheus really is.
Aldebaran later came to the residence in Port Lux and was waiting there. Aldebaran reports on the progress of the investigation. After compiling and organizing all the information gathered so far, he says that Prometheus's forces are beyond imagination. The Dark Clan is behind the Heresist, while the Mage Guild has caused monster mutations and joined forces with the Metal Clan to concentrate its attacks on the Plant Clan. Prometheus is causing anomalies by exploiting the disruption of the balance among the monster Clans. They are clearly after pieces of the Absolute Soul Core. Veradrix says there must be another plan of theirs that they do not know about, and that for now they have no choice but to keep Patren safe, uncover Prometheus's true form, and eliminate it.

A secret proposal comes in. Officer Morrison says that you seem very busy these days and that the continent is in considerable turmoil. He says that quite a large group of travelers recently entered Port Lux suddenly and appeared to be a religious group. He also explains the seven Sages of the Sage Tower, saying that he received messages from two Sages of the Sage Tower. Two of them, Sage Capella and Procyon, are competing with each other and gathering Nevareth warriors to support them. On the surface, they claim they intend to resolve Nevareth's turmoil, but Morrison does not seem ready to believe them. On the other hand, he thinks that if the Sages bring the people of Nevareth together under one banner, it might lead to another great advancement. Morrison then asks you a question: What are you fighting for here? Which side will you choose?

When you arrive at Fort. Ruina, Sally, the general goods merchant, speaks to you. She says that because it is dangerous, the people of Fort. Ruina are highly wary of outsiders. Sally came to Fort. Ruina from Desert Scream in search of her younger brother, who disappeared because of a dark mage. She asks you to find him, saying that the dark mage who vanished with her brother is living in the Metal Clan Lair in Fort. Ruina. Moved by her tragic story, you agree to help.
While investigating the Metal Clan Lair, you discover Sally's younger brother, Leff. Leff is astonished to meet a genuinely living person. After you rescue Leff, Sally is reunited with her brother for the first time in years. Sally says she will never forget your kindness.
Sally makes one more request. In Fort. Ruina, there is a child named Solme who lost their parents and lives as an orphan. Sally has been helping Solme, but her younger brother is ill and she cannot leave his side, so she asks you to deliver bread in her place. Solme, who was playing in the village square, realizes your identity from a few clues alone: “I’ve never seen you before” and “the bread Sally always gives me.” Sally reportedly sheds tears whenever she sees Solme, saying that Solme reminds her of her younger brother.
After eating the bread, Solme tells you about the outsiders who entered Fort. Ruina recently. They have reportedly settled in an abandoned house outside the village. Judging by the fact that they are staying in a place filled with Metal Clan monsters, Solme concludes that they are no ordinary people. Solme also tells you that they seem to be looking for someone.
When you go to the Abandoned House, you hear your companions' voices. Your companions were really there. Yuan says he deliberately did not go inside so as not to frighten the villagers. Recalling how the wizards once joined forces with the Metal Clan, he thinks it is highly likely that the map really indicates Prometheus's Base. However, Mystic Blade says he has an ominous feeling because Prometheus's Base was revealed too easily.
After getting enough rest, the group decides to split into three teams. Mystic Blade, Yuan, and Arionell will pursue Silverwood and Patren, while Freed and Rin will search for the ASC Controller. Nine and “I” decide to raid Prometheus's Base together. According to the map, Prometheus's Base is the Vampire Lair. Nine begins investigating first, and “I” follow behind, entering the lair and dealing with the vampires. Inside, you witness Sirius arguing with Sage Rigel.
It turns out that Nine was a spy for Prometheus. Rigel had manipulated Nine into becoming a spy and was stealing information about the Sword of Guardians. Sirius condemns Rigel, asking whether he really thinks things will go as planned, but Rigel retorts that Sirius knows nothing of the lives of wretched people and declares that they will remake the world and create a perfect one. Rigel reveals that the ASC Controller can control the power of the Lord of Destruction, and that the leader of Prometheus is Rigel, the former Sage from two generations ago. The former Sage Rigel became a Lich through forbidden arcane arts and has lived for over three hundred years. Rigel attacks Sirius, saying that “I” would never dare to challenge him. Sirius and “I” suffer severe injuries and barely escape from the Vampire Lair. After escaping and returning to the Abandoned House, Sirius laments that Prometheus deceived them. The group decides to prioritize protecting the ASC Controller and Patren over rescuing Nine.
While Sirius recovers from his injuries, you decide to investigate the Heresist operating undercover in Fort. Ruina. Sally, the general goods merchant, asks whether you are investigating the Heresist, saying she heard that the people staying in the Abandoned House are your companions. She tells you that the dark mage who had been following her younger brother once served as the leader of the Heresist. Sally’s younger brother Leff remembered the locations of the Heathen's Village sites scattered throughout Fort. Ruina. Sally gives you bombs and asks you to destroy the Heathen's Village sites. You accept the request because destroying the Heathen's Village sites might force the Heresist to emerge into the open. While destroying them with the bombs, you discover a damaged warp circuit at the third Heathen's Village site. Sally has never seen anything like it, but says that a professional Blacksmith could restore the circuit and determine its purpose. The only person currently in the Fort. Ruina smithy is the part-time worker Hide. Hide says he will pass it on when the Blacksmith returns.
While returning to the Abandoned House, your companions urgently search for you through Solme. When you return to the Abandoned House, Sirius tells the group that Nine was infected with The Vampire's venom and became a spy, and that the leader of Prometheus is Rigel, the former Sage from two generations ago who became a Lich. Sirius gathers everyone's findings, saying that they must ensure even Patren is not manipulated.
Rin is horrified to learn that they were played by Prometheus's plan. However, Rin says they must be troubled as well, since they ultimately failed in their plan to kill Sirius. The biggest problem now is the location of the ASC Controller, and Freed is searching for it. Arionell bursts into tears, saying that Silverwood makes her think of Aike because of Silverwood, while Yuan says that although he captured Silverwood, he has not yet found any trace of Patren. Mystic Blade is currently interrogating him. Sirius worries that Patren may have awakened as the Lord of Destruction, thinking that Silverwood may have lost him because he could not handle Patren's rampage.
Meanwhile, Rin makes one request of me. While investigating the location of the ASC Controller, Rin discovered that many senior officials of the Mage Guild had been replaced. Presumably, Prometheus has taken control of the Mage Guild. It is also said that one Mage Guild official is working with the Metal Clan at the Sewer Hideout to form an alliance with the Metal Clan. Rin decided that this had to be disrupted. Infiltrate the Sewer Hideout southwest of Fort. Ruina and smash everything in sight to strike a blow against Prometheus's plans.

Suddenly, Nine calls out, saying that he has a bad feeling. He says that Prometheus may have found Patren and launched an attack. When we hurry back to the lodgings, Arionell is crying. She says that Silverwood launched a surprise attack, and that Aike died while trying to protect Arionell when Patren went berserk. Silverwood took Patren away. Arionell wonders how Silverwood knew they were the only ones there and came attacking.
The companions are enraged by Aike's death. Rin swears that Silverwood will pay, while Freed blames himself for failing to protect Patren. Yuan calmly assesses the situation and worries about Arionell. He says that Arionell seems to feel guilty for failing to protect Patren. He worries about what will happen if Prometheus obtains the ASC Controller.
Veradrix is shocked by Aike's death, but insists that they should first focus on recovering Patren and uncovering Prometheus's identity. The interpretation revealed that Prometheus's base was in Fort. Ruina. However, Heil says that he could not contact Sirius, so he sent the interpreted map to Aldebaran. Veradrix asks us to take the map and check that Sirius is safe.
When we go to Sirius' Hideout, we sense an ominous presence. If we had arrived even a little later, Sirius would have been attacked by The Vampire monsters. After rescuing Sirius from danger, Sirius takes the map and asks us to obtain Glacier Herb to treat his wounds.
Sirius suggests that there may be a spy within their group, saying that no one besides them knows the locations of the lodgings and the hideout. He says that they may even have been brainwashed and controlled against their will.
Sirius asks Aldebaran to find out about the internal spy, saying that he will hide himself after finding a new place to stay. However, Aldebaran had already been killed by Prometheus. Veradrix introduces Mystic Blade, who guarded Aldebaran's final moments. Mystic Blade had originally been pursuing Silverwood, but came to know Aldebaran and began cooperating with him. It is said that Silverwood took his eye. Just before dying, Aldebaran handed his investigation records to Mystic Blade and revealed the spy's name. It was Sage Rigel.
The group first buries Aldebaran's body along the coast of Port Lux and gathers their companions to discuss countermeasures. As a result of the meeting, they decide to raid Prometheus's base in Fort. Ruina.

Silverwood is interrogated to obtain information from him after he is captured. Silverwood stubbornly refuses to talk about Patren's whereabouts. Yuan comes up with a good idea. Among the ancient core technologies is a serum that stimulates the nerves in the brain and makes the subject speak only the truth. Yuan asks you to retrieve the Serum of Truth from Metal Clan's Ancient Laboratory. Obtain a drug with a side-effect warning from Metal Clan's Rare. Mystic Blade asks you to use the drug on their behalf because they cannot see.
After being administered the Serum of Truth, Silverwood confesses everything. No one can stop the Lord of Destruction's rampage. Furthermore, the Lord of Destruction was also Faust and Saint Valentine. The Lord of Destruction created and sealed the ASC Controller. No one can stop him.
Mystic Blade cannot completely deny Silverwood's words. This is because no one witnessed Saint Valentine sealing the Lord of Destruction. You must prepare for the possibility of Patren awakening as the Lord of Destruction. Everyone is shocked when you tell your companions about this.
Rin stops you, saying that there is something they forgot to tell you. Veradrix and Sirius urgently asked for you. Yuan has gone to Port Lux with Sirius for now, but it seems to be an urgent matter, so Rin tells you to follow them for the time being. When you go to the residence, you learn that various areas of Port Lux and Fort. Ruina are being attacked by monster clans.
When you tell Sirius the information obtained from Silverwood, Sirius says after deep thought that, like Patren, Saint Valentine and Dr. Faust may also be other forms of the current king and the Lord of Destruction. Veradrix says that you must find Patren and stop the rampage before Patren fully awakens as the Lord of Destruction. The only place in Fort. Ruina that has not yet been attacked is the Phantasmal Clan Rare. Veradrix asks you to look for Patren there.
There, you encounter Patren, who has begun to rampage. Patren laments his fate, saying that he cannot control his power. He hands over his Dagger and asks you to use it to kill him if he ever tries to hurt people.
After receiving Patren's Dagger, Veradrix is confused, feeling that they failed to protect the King. Veradrix says that they may need to use the Dagger someday, so they will keep it safe. Meanwhile, Silverwood escaped due to the side effects of the Serum of Truth.

When Shlansky, the warehouse guard in Port Lux, summons you and you go to him, he tells you to go because an urgent message has arrived from Hide in Fort. Ruina. When you meet Hide, Hide says that the Blacksmith had been away for too long, so Hide tried to repair the warp circuit personally and accidentally damaged it. Still, there was one result: Hide discovered the string "ASC" inside the internal components. The Blacksmith in Fort. Ruina reportedly saw it and said it might be condensed powerful energy. When you take it back to your companions, Yuan suggests asking Sirius whether Prometheus may have located the ASC Controller. Sirius recalls that leaving records in this manner is a habit of the Undead Clan, and that the creatures that attacked Sirius and Nine, as well as Rigel's guards, were all monsters of the Undead Clan. It is now certain that the Undead Clan has joined forces with Prometheus and is acting together with them. Sirius speculates that Prometheus's Base may be located in the Undead Clan's main habitat. That place is the Land of Death, Undead Ground. However, Sirius says that the location of the ASC Controller is more important right now than Prometheus's Base.
Freed, who went to find the ASC Controller, has not sent any word. Sirius says that since there has been no contact, there will be no results either. Freed was currently staying at the travelers' lodgings in Port Lux and making inquiries. However, most people, even at the Tower of the Sage, did not know about ASC, so ordinary people could not possibly know anything about it, and naturally there were no results. For now, Freed has reportedly asked the harbor manager to look into it.
At that point, news finally arrived from Porter, the harbor manager. Porter says that Researcher Heil should know about the ASC Controller. However, Heil has fallen back into gambling and now intends to raise funds by selling even the advanced test subjects he has collected so far. Porter suggests that you can get an answer if you capture and bring him the advanced test subject Mechamander+. Freed returned to Fort. Ruina first, while you handed the test subject you captured over to Heil and met with him. It turns out that Heil's master hid the ASC Controller in Undead Ground.

That last resort is the killing of the King. The Six Stars were each born with two missions, and Arionell and Yuan are the two who can oppose the King and break his power. Yuan's second mission is Kingslayer, while Arionell's second mission is Seal. Because it is impossible to know whether Patren will seal himself, as Saint Valentine did, the result cannot be guaranteed, which is why the Stars of Light have second missions.
When Arionell hears about Seal, she pities Patren. Yuan, on the other hand, quickly accepts his mission. Fearing that all of Nevareth will turn into hell if he abandons his duty, he sets out to find the Kingslayer's Weapon. Veradrix says that Arionell's second mission is too harsh, but Veradrix's own mission is sacrifice.
Afterward, the group decides that Rin and Freed will prepare the ASC Controller, Mystic Blade will track Silverwood, and Veradrix and Arionell will prepare Patren's Seal.
Sirius says that one Apocalypse Card remains, and that the Phantasmal Clan possesses it. It is unknown how the Phantasmal Clan obtained it, but they are said to have used it to bring prosperity to their race. Sirius wanted to go himself, but says that he has had difficulty moving since being injured by Rigel, and asks you to retrieve it.
After hunting Wurk in Lake in Dusk and obtaining the Apocalypse Card, Sirius says that the card could become the key to saving the world and tells you to take it to Tesky. When you deliver the Final Apocalypse Card to Tesky with Freed, Tesky is[1] Although he seems indifferent, he makes a special device. Freed receives the special device and Apocalypse Card from Tesky and, bewildered, suggests going to see Sirius. When you return after receiving the special device from Tesky, Sirius explains how to use it. The device charges the energy of the Apocalypse Card and can temporarily halt the power of the Lord of Destruction. Sirius hands the device to you, saying that there will be a time when it is needed.
After hearing from Sirius how to use the special device, Freed recommends returning to the House of Undead first, saying that he will take some time and feels uneasy leaving only Arionell and Veradrix there.
But by the time you arrive, it is already too late. You hear Arionell's screams and the sound of someone fighting inside. When you rush in, Arionell is sobbing. Arionell tells you what happened.
Patren took one Core Fragment from the Phantasmal Clan and gathered two Core Fragments. But, disillusioned with reality, he came to find Veradrix and Arionell so that he could seal himself. While Arionell hesitated, Silverwood attacked to seize the Fragments. Veradrix saved Patren and sacrificed himself instead, and Patren disappeared somewhere once again.
Veradrix was critically injured while stopping Silverwood. Veradrix dies after leaving a final request to protect Nevareth, saying that he had only remained faithful to his mission and was grateful that Patren was safe. Sirius regrets leaving only Arionell and Veradrix behind, but encourages you by saying that he will not let their deaths be in vain.
Sirius says that because Veradrix belonged to the Sage Tower, his funeral must be handled by the Polis authorities rather than privately, and asks you to move Veradrix's remains to Desert Scream. When the enraged Yuan goes alone to find the Lord of Destruction with only the Kingslayer's Weapon, Sirius urgently sends a message so that he can be rescued.
Rin and Freed are investigating, but have been unable to find the ASC Controller, and Mystic Blade's tracking has also produced no results. Sirius is concerned that the Lord of Destruction's rampage is accelerating. The residents have not been harmed yet, but it is impossible to know how long that will last.
Sirius asks you to let Arionell come into contact with the Lord of Destruction and watch the King's Consort attempt the second mission. Since the Lord of Destruction's energy is surging strongly, he says that Arionell should be able to locate him instinctively. He also suspects that, because Patren's will resides in the Dagger he once gave you, you may be able to speak with Patren through it.
When you return after meeting Patren, everyone thanks you for coming back safely. Sirius had thought Patren was a weak child, but is impressed that he possessed the strong will to choose Seal himself. However, if Prometheus finds the ASC Controller before the Lord of Destruction, self-sealing will be impossible even if Patren's will remains.

At Prometheus's base, you discover a uniquely carved transparent Ice Ring. Upon seeing it, Sirius recognizes it as the ring Rigel carried. Rigel had a habit of imbuing his belongings with his own attributes. The Ice Ring follows its owner, making it clear that Prometheus's Base is where Rigel is.
As Sirius expected, Rigel's Ice Ring reacts with the entrance to the Ice Castle. However, Sirius decides that it would be difficult to immediately sweep the base due to being outnumbered, and first tries to determine their movements and situation. In other words, he wants you to infiltrate Prometheus's Base, install a listening device, and monitor them. As a result, the location of the ASC Controller is revealed.
Sirius raids the Tower of Undead with Rin and fights Rigel's subordinates. After a fierce battle, Rin is wounded, and Sirius fights Rigel alone. Sirius suffers a fatal injury and is rescued by you, but says that he should have saved the ASC Controller before himself. Humanity's fate depends on the existence of the ASC Controller. The Lord of Destruction wants to destroy the ASC Controller and become completely free from Patren's consciousness. Prometheus intends to subdue the Lord of Destruction through the ASC Controller. The ASC Controller is currently weakened by the Lord of Destruction's attack. Sirius asks you to destroy the ASC Controller.
You destroy the ASC Controller and defeat the former Sage Rigel, but Sirius's injury is fatal. Sirius leaves a final message that you must believe in and wait for Patren's will remaining within the Lord of Destruction, and eventually dies. Everyone in the group mourns Sirius's death.
After Sirius dies, his companions gather again at the House of Undead. Arionell mourns Sirius's death and says, "I hope no one else leaves my side." They feel helpless knowing that everything depends on Patren's will. When Freed learns that Sirius has died, he says his journey was unintentionally delayed and is confused about whom to trust and follow from now on. Mystic Blade apologizes, saying the outcome seems to have changed because they were unable to contact Freed. They also say that while waiting for the Lord of Destruction's Seal, they must prepare for the possibility of failure.
However, before they even have time to overcome their grief, Patren takes Arionell to the Altar of Eternity. It happens so quickly that no one can stop it.
Rin wonders whether this is Patren's will or whether the Lord of Destruction is trying to Seal himself. If Arionell prevents the Great Destruction and Seals the Lord of Destruction, Rin feels bitter that the Age of Imperfect Humans has ultimately arrived. Even so, Rin is relieved that everyone is safe.
Once Patren's Seal is complete, Yuan says he will help Arionell grow until Arionell is able to protect themself sufficiently. Freed says that Sirius once told him to remember the Sword of Guardians whenever he looked at the Apocalypse Card. Freed then says he will set out to find the surviving Sword of Guardians. Rin says they will rebuild the Thief Guild and look for ways to help those who helped them. Mystic Blade says they will pursue Silverwood again, saying that this story will only end when one of the two dies.
After asking what you will do from now on, they say that if you do not know what to do, they will give you something to do. Mystic Blade asks you to make a small memorial stele for Aike, Aldebaran, Veradrix, and Sirius, who died before them. They say that what they had been making remains unfinished near the House of Undead, and ask you to complete it.

The war that broke out on the Huan Continent was not over. Warehouse Guard Cox explained the news coming through the Nevareth Port Service. The whole of Nevareth was in an uproar. War broke out between Judin and Medenark before a truce was reached, and the investigation into the monsters was also suspended. The Mercenary Corps urged people to wage war for their pay, while the monsters continued to run amok. The monsters of Forgotten Ruin had even invaded Desert Scream.
Cox had accepted the request to hunt the Giant scorpion for the time being, but he had apparently been sitting on it because there was no one to resolve it. The situation had left Cox disillusioned. Yet, while pondering what the right thing to do was, Cox countered that dangers from legend did not feel real, and that being human meant having no choice but to worry about surviving in the present.
At Cox's request, if you go to Forgotten Ruin to hunt Giant scorpion, you will meet someone named Black Bard. Instead of revealing his identity, Black Bard says something incomprehensible: Sirius foresaw his fate and sent “me” to him. Black Bard says that whether Nevareth will regain its sovereignty or collapse in the Great Destruction depends on the Guardian Knights. He also says that even if humans become divided, it would be a choice made by humans rather than an order from a transcendent power, allowing them to make a new beginning, and that he hopes they will have clear convictions.
Meanwhile, the bitter cold continues on the Midreth Continent. Fisher says this is the first time the cold has become so severe and wonders whether it might be a sign of some impending disaster. Fisher asks you to hunt Berserk Ghoul in Undead Ground. Apparently, some people claim that it is the undead's curse because it is so cold. Fisher does not believe the rumor, but says a way is needed to ease people's anxiety. As expected, nothing changed even after Berserk Ghoul was defeated.
On the Pastur Continent, torrential rain was falling without end. The flood damage was so severe that neither Polis nor Sage Tower could do anything about it. In the midst of this, some people reportedly discovered the existence of a book containing a spell that would stop the rain. However, the book is in the possession of an Orc Mage named Jidarsch from Lake in Dusk.
After defeating Jidarsch and visiting the person introduced by Nadler, you will meet Black Bard. Black Bard says that people must be desperate enough to search for something like this, and that the issue is not deciphering it but whether the disaster will end. The Lord of Destruction has already begun to awaken, and the movement to continue the Era of Humans has already begun as well. He then makes the meaningful remark that those who want to usher in the Era of Humans will also want the Lord of Destruction to disappear, but if the Lord of Destruction disappears, the alliance will end too.
The Golems in Port Lux suddenly began running amok. Shlansky tells you about Black Bard and asks you to find him, saying that he might know how to solve the problem. After making inquiries, the general goods merchant Hampric tells you his location. Black Bard explains that the Golems can be calmed if you bring him the Ghost Blader's Ring from Undead Ground. However, he adds that the record is so old that he does not know whether it will work. Hoping that it will be effective, Shlansky takes the ring to the Officer.
Officer Morrison says that something is amiss with the atmosphere at Sage Tower. The Huan Continent was overseen by Sage Procyon, while the Pastur Continent was overseen by Sage Capella. Suddenly, they declared independence from Sage Tower. Morrison says that the warriors of Nevareth will eventually have to choose one side. When you visit Black Bard, he explains the Sages, saying that war has become unavoidable. Capella pursues an egalitarian society. Procyon pursues an absolute leader. Black Bard advises you to think carefully before deciding which faction to join.

I receive a summons from Warehouse Guard Cox. Apparently, a message has arrived from someone named Skaild. Cox reads Skaild's message aloud himself and feels embarrassed by its exaggerated manner of speech. When I go to meet Skaild, he greets me warmly in the exaggerated manner characteristic of his messages. Skaild tells me he will teach me a technique for defeating a Stone Beetle in one blow and orders me to bring one to him. However, Skaild's method is utterly absurd: grab its ears and beat it mercilessly. Skaild tells me to review what I have learned immediately and disappears as if fleeing.
Second meeting. Skaild tells me that if I hunt enough Lihorna, I will eventually be able to fire Thunder Beam from my forehead. He then launches into a long speech about the monster he wants to keep as a pet. But when I actually hunt Lihorna, he bursts out laughing and asks whether I really wanted to fire Thunder Beam.
Third meeting. Skaild says he is sorry for deceiving me all this time and wants to apologize. As a gesture of apology, he says he will give me some valuable information. It is that I can make a lot of Money by selling the sturdy hide of a Two-headed Hound. When I look at him suspiciously, Skaild berates me, asking whether I have spent my whole life being deceived. But when I actually bring the hides to Libert, Libert asks why I picked up such trash and says he can extend credit if I need Money.
Fourth meeting. Skaild claims that he is actually from a noble family. He says that if I still do not believe him, I should go ask Mezias. Mezias is said to have immediately recognized the Miz family's heirloom in Skaild's possession. He clicks his tongue, saying that no one in Nevareth is unaware of the Miz family. However, Mezias corrects the facts. It is true that Skaild was a candidate to succeed the Miz family, but Skaild caused so much trouble that they did not even care when he ran away, and they are pursuing him because he took the Miz family's heirloom with him when he fled. When I return to Skaild and confront him, he denies running away, insisting that he merely ventured out into a larger world.
Fifth meeting. Skaild loudly claims that Griffin is actually a natural monument designated by the Sage Tower and that something terrible will happen if I hunt Griffin. When I do not believe him because of his past record, Skaild tells me to hunt one myself. He says the Officer will summon me to scold me. When I ask Officer Dunhaik, Dunhaik lets out a hollow laugh. Several warriors have asked him the exact same question over the past few days. Dunhaik gives the common-sense answer that there is no such thing as a natural monument and that even if there were, they would never protect a monster. He repeatedly emphasizes that Griffin is not a natural monument.
Sixth meeting. Skaild tells me about the newly established Special Administration Colony, Port Lux. He boasts that Exilian Island is sinking because of a terrifying, gigantic stone monster there, and that I have to travel by ship for a month to reach it. When I ask whether I can travel by Warp Gate instead, Skaild scolds me to study harder, saying that if that were possible, would they have created the Colony in the first place? He also says he heard that the guards of Port Lux are breathtakingly beautiful and that he will meet them someday.
Seventh meeting. Unlike usual, Skaild says he has encountered a life-or-death crisis and tells me to hurry over so he can grant me the honor of helping him. When I meet him, Skaild says that the Miz Family is currently facing serious financial difficulties and may collapse if this is not prevented. He then asks me to lend him some Money, saying I should consider it an investment. When I refuse to lend him Money, he throws a tantrum and says I am being too harsh. In the end, Skaild disappears with the Money, laughing gleefully while claiming that his family is on the verge of collapse. When I reappear, apparently because he thought I had left first, he is startled and begs me not to hit him.
Eighth meeting. He asks you to meet him, saying he will show you something cool. Skaild appears riding a Bike. When asked how he got it, he boasts that there is nothing money cannot accomplish in this world. Judging by the circumstances, he clearly bought it with the money he borrowed last time. Skaild says he will give you a new Bike if you pass his test. The test is to go to Lakeside and retrieve Dark Noll's Sword Fragment. However, when you actually bring him the sword, he is disappointed that you brought a useless piece of a sword. When you argue that he told you to bring Dark Noll's Sword Fragment, Skaild reacts as if he does not remember. If you ask for a Bike Card, he says it is too expensive to give you and gives you something else instead.
