Forgotten Ruin

Overview

It is the ruins of a fallen ancient city. It is also the largest Honorable Age ruin on the Huan Continent.

Features

Buildings resembling temples, presumed to have originated in the Honorable Age, and their ruins lie abandoned amid the desolate wasteland. Although it is filled with ancient, mysterious ruins that have yet to be explored, access is difficult because of the dangers. Many people who went to explore the Forgotten Ruin were killed or left crippled.

All that remains in Nevareth is a legend that the Forgotten Ruin was once a vast city inhabited by many people, but became a wasteland where no one could live after turning into ruins in an instant. Now, only grotesque giant birds and insects live in the Forgotten Temple.

The Forgotten Temple was later excavated southeast of the Forgotten Ruin. More precisely, it was a facility originally discovered at the Sage Tower but hidden away because it was dangerous. It was originally the site of the Academy, built during the Honorable Age, but after the Lord of Destruction descended, the Academy was destroyed and its founder is said to have murdered people. Rumors say that the founder gained immortality and has since been attacking travelers and warriors passing around this temple. The authorities currently issue entry cards to warriors who want to explore the Forgotten Temple.

Others

People in Nevareth are attempting to purify the Forgotten Ruin by planting Fragrant Roots there. However, they are failing because the land is too desolate. Muster Cards required to enter the Forgotten Temple can be obtained in the Forgotten Ruin, Lakeside, Mutant Forest, and elsewhere.
