Mutant Forest

Overview

A strangely mutated forest discovered beyond Forest of Nostalgia in the central-eastern region of Pastur Continent. It was recently declared a disputed area because an important ruin is presumed to exist somewhere in the depths of the forest.

Features

Located in the central-eastern region of the Pastur Continent, the Forest of Nostalgia remained unexplored for many years because of its complexity and danger. In addition, its vegetation was unusual, with coniferous and broadleaf forests, as well as tropical forests and jungles, coexisting. Mutant Forest is located beyond the mutated jungle among them. After the Sage Tower was dismantled, the Capella Federation and Procyon discovered an important archaeological site deep within the jungle while exploring the unexplored territory. However, before a proper search could begin, the two forces began clashing with each other, and the area was declared a disputed region. Mutant Forest is inhabited by monsters whose bodies have been taken over by parasitic plants and bizarrely mutated worms and insects, and it rains all day. A river originating from a waterfall flows through the jungle, while a huge brick building and temple of unknown original ownership stand in the center of the jungle. It was named Mutant Forest because there were too many mutations. The Abandoned Altar is connected to the entrance of the Altar of Siena. A strange shopkeeper sells items nearby. According to him, since the conflict between Capella and Procyon began, creatures resembling plants and animals entered it while escorting a monster whom they revered like a queen. The Altar of Siena was later discovered down to B2F.
