Overview

Flasha is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online. You can meet her in Bloody Ice.

Background Story

A Rune Agent is a profession that creates Blended Runes by combining Essence Runes and Cores. Can't understand it? Most people would probably react the same way. Blended Rune began with a presentation by Dr. Altone, a senior researcher at LOPI. However, creating Blended Runes is extremely difficult, so Flasha's research has no end in sight. Flasha remains absorbed in her experiments in Bloody Ice, hoping to achieve results worthy of public recognition.

The Suspicious Sage

When asked about Turner, Flasha speaks as though she knows the Savior well. Flasha says that Turner is so busy that she wishes other people would bother him less. Flasha's friend was also treated by the Savior and survived. She tells me where to find the Savior.

When you visit her to ask about Turner's whereabouts, she tells you where he is.

Hell on Earth

When asked about Turner, she tells you to ask him directly. It is revealed that Flasha also finds Turner intimidating. In fact, she knew almost nothing about Turner.

She is depressed because the Thief Guild raided the laboratory and stole its research materials. Flasha wants to recover the stolen items, but she cannot bring herself to do it alone because the Thief Guild is raising a Lynxhorn Zombie Leader. To persuade me to accept the request, Flasha tells me where the Thief Guild members hide their stolen goods. After I retrieve the lost documents, she thanks me and resumes her work.

Flasha is struggling because she cannot obtain the materials needed for a new research method she is devising. Flasha is gnashing her teeth because Ape zombies have eaten all the Ghost Flowers she needs. After obtaining the Ghost Flowers, Flasha hopes the experiment proceeds according to her hypothesis.

Flasha explains what a Rune Agent is. A Rune Agent is someone who uses Rune Technology to draw out warriors' Soul Ability—in other words, their potential. Soul Ability refers to the potential that warriors draw out as they train. Of course, research into potential is still incomplete, making it impossible to draw out its full extent. Soul Ability is also divided into Essence and Blended types, and Flasha says that AP and Cores are required even when applying Blended Ability. A Blended Rune emerges only when Core Technology, applied to a specific Essence Rune, is used. Unfortunately, Blended Ability is a complex and unstable technology, so the results are produced randomly and chaotically.

An Essence type is an item obtained through Essence Runes that appear while hunting monsters. As with all equipment, there are many varieties, and each type differs in the maximum ability it can draw out and the amount of AP and Cores it requires.
