Overview

Simon is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online. He can be found in Bloody Ice.

Background Story

Even a young man of imposing build cannot withstand the passage of time. Simon, however, lives as though he alone were exempt. Despite clutching his aching back from his smelting work, Simon stubbornly smokes strong tobacco. Simon claims that Midress's metal smelting techniques are the best in the world and takes pride in the armor he makes. However, it is clear that Bloody Ice is not a good place to live. Simon recently lost his beloved grandson to zombies.

You first meet him when you enroll as a trainee at the Special Combat Colony.

The Suspicious Sage

When asked about the person known as the Savior, Simon says he is worried that the man might be saddled with a bad reputation. Simon is convinced that, despite the overly grand title others use, he is simply a kind young man and not a bad person. This is because the Sage is treating war wounded free of charge. He says that war wounded from elsewhere are now flocking to the Midreth Continent to receive treatment from the Sage. He does not seem to know the Sage's location, but says that Plashar would know where he is.

Normal Quest

He takes considerable pride in the items he makes. He thinks that anyone in the Warrior class should naturally use his armor. Because of this bold statement, the matter grows increasingly larger, and “I” end up having to meet all the armor craftsmen throughout Nevareth. Simon tells you to ask Armor Merchant Dion of Desert Scream about his skills. Armor Merchant Dion, for his part, claims that he is the best when it comes to Wizard armor, while Collins of Green Despair becomes furious, saying that Simon made such an outrageous remark. Ryoung maturely glosses over the matter by saying that although they are all rivals, they also help one another, leaving everyone looking ridiculous.

He is worried because his grandson has gone missing. Simon's grandson disappeared in Zombie Village. No one knows whether he is dead or alive. Simon wants to find out what happened to his grandson. However, the only thing found was a single shoe. It was a shoe Simon had given his grandson in the past. Simon, who had hoped his grandson would return alive, is unable to continue speaking.

Simon says that Tower of Undead B1F is colder than Bloody Ice. As it happens, Simon heard that defeating Ice Ghol Warrior and Ice Zombie Lady there would give him an idea of how to overcome the cold, so he recommends hunting them. Of course, it had no effect.
