Porter is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online. They can be found in Port Lux.

Background Story

Porter was employed as a harbor manager from a young age. However, the harbor manager's job was extremely busy, making it difficult for him to see his family. After much consideration, Porter tricked his younger brother Carter into taking a job as a harbor manager. Porter did this so he could see his younger brother more often, but Carter is very dissatisfied because of his busy days.

In Search of the Land of Death

At Freed's request, Porter investigates rumors concerning the ASC Controller. Even Freed seemed to have no expectations, but Porter soon discovered that Researcher Heil knew the location of the ASC Controller. However, meeting Heil was not easy. Heil, who was thought to have quit gambling, had fallen back into it and was selling the advanced test subjects he had collected so far to raise gambling funds. Realizing that Heil's financial situation was serious, Porter said that bringing him monsters used as advanced test subjects would get him the answers he wanted. Although an unexpected incident occurred in which Heil wanted to meet the warrior who had hunted the monsters in person, just as Porter had predicted, Heil eventually revealed the location of the ASC Controller.

Normal Quests

Around the time the Heresist spread to the Midreth Continent, Carter suffered from guilt, feeling that the Heresist had spread because he had failed to conduct thorough inspections. After learning this, Porter worried about whether Carter was eating properly. Porter asked that fresh seafood be delivered to Carter. He wanted to stimulate his younger brother's appetite with food that was common on the coast but difficult to find in the jungle. After receiving the fresh seafood, Carter said that, despite living far apart, the brothers missed each other. Carter said he would share the seafood with the villagers.

Porter worries about his future because of rumors that he may be assigned to Lakeside due to his feather allergy. This is because Lakeside is home to many feathered monsters. Porter asks that Bloody Harpy Slaves and Bloody Harpy Warriors be hunted to determine how severe his allergy is. However, when the request is completed, Porter says that he no longer needs to go to Lakeside.
