Overview

Harper is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online. They can be found in Port Lux.

Background Story

Harper eagerly volunteered when the initial dispatch to Port Lux was decided. This was because Harper remembered that various countries and the Sage Tower had invested in other locations designated as Special Combat Colony. However, due to Sirius's disappearance and various other issues, Port Lux received little attention. As a result, few warriors were assigned to Port Lux compared with the dangers it posed. Frustrated and eventually exhausted by this reality, Harper became a curt old man toward everyone.

Suspicious Sage

When visited, Harper complains that the weather has been hot lately. Even when greeted, Harper behaves curtly, saying that things are not well. In fact, Harper had a very troublesome problem. These days, the townspeople have been arguing with one another over political issues. Harper says that they never had to take anyone's side before, but the situation has changed considerably, and they do not understand what is happening now. Among the townspeople, Harper considers Eite the biggest nuisance.

Normal Quest

Harper claims that although I have been recognized for my abilities on the continent, I am still a novice. Harper warns that Port Lux is filled with dangerous monsters despite its beautiful scenery, and that there are countless ordeals worse than the battles I have experienced on the continent. Harper demands that I defeat Crag King Crab. When I return after the hunt, Harper says that this was only an introductory test and tells me to abandon my unbearably arrogant attitude.

Harper treats me as if we have never met. When I question Harper about it, Harper makes excuses, saying that many warriors come to Port Lux and that Harper is also like that because they do not pay attention to those around them. Harper hurriedly changes the subject and explains Mission War. It was a battle fought in Tierra Gloriosa by people who supported or joined Capella or Procyon.

Harper believes that exceptional martial prowess is necessary to survive in troubled times. Harper sternly tells me to train endlessly if I lack something. To prove my abilities, Harper demands that I hunt Phantom Fera.

Black Hound is a monster skilled in stealth and ambushes. Although it is far more dangerous than Flame Hound, its similar appearance often caused those encountering it for the first time to let their guard down. In fact, several warriors died while trying to hunt Black Hound. Harper insists that a warrior must be filled with the desire to hunt monsters and demands that I take on the challenge.

Port Lux is said to have many challenges that seem foolish but are beautiful. One of them is hunting a Red Stone Golem. In the past, several warriors failed and died while trying to subdue it. After the hunt, Harper says that he took a hit. He adds that people like me, who break standards and truths, rarely appear in the world.

The pirates, who had been quiet for some time, landed on the shores of Port Lux. Armed with weapons looted from ships traveling throughout the continent, they were extremely dangerous. Moreover, Port Lux was in no position to engage the pirates recklessly. Harper asks you to deal with Dark Medeek, saying that everyone except the captain is small fry. After Dark Medeek is hunted, Harper says the authorities will subdue the remaining pirates, since the pirate crew must have been thrown into confusion.

Perhaps because he had always taken great pride in his abilities, Harper is shocked when a slight cut fails to heal quickly. Lamenting his aging, Harper asks you to obtain material for medicine to treat wounds from Pontus Ferrum. The items Harper requested were MA-04 special-purpose fuel and MA-04 emergency fuel. When you actually bring the material, he forgets and jokes that he had already obtained it by asking someone else.
