Einstein is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online universe. It can be found in Fort. Ruina.

Background Story

Einstein suffers from a serious illness due to prolonged exposure to heavy metals. Fortunately, the symptoms were detected early and his condition has subsided, but Einstein remains wary of a recurrence.

Normal Quest

He tells you the location of Ruina Station. The area around Fort. Ruina was originally either unexplored or unsuitable for habitation, so access itself was restricted. However, traces of railway tracks were discovered around Fort. Ruina one day. They were remnants of something built during the Honorable Age. An investigation reportedly revealed that Fort. Ruina was actually an old train station. Fort. Ruina was originally Ruina Station No. 1003, and similar places are said to exist elsewhere as well. Ruina Station looks exactly like the village of Fort. Ruina, but it was reportedly seized by powerful monsters one day. Research was discontinued because of this. Einstein says that warriors skilled enough to explore Ruina Station are rarer than expected, so even Sage Tower does not go out of its way to stop people from going there with a Muster Card. Einstein tells you that Muster Cards required to enter Ruina Station can be found in Fort. Ruina and Undead Ground.

When you return with a Muster Card, Einstein praises you as a strong warrior who is not afraid of places filled with mechanical monsters. Ruina Station was a place that ordinary people like Einstein would not dare even approach. Einstein recommends visiting Ruina Station, saying that an official notice has come down from Sage Tower and that the reward is quite generous. The notice states that anyone who defeats Invader Excavator R-2 will receive a reward. Einstein tells you that there is a passage leading to Ruina Station in a place where Mecha Apes appear.

Einstein spends his time imagining himself adventuring in Undead Ground. As it happens, Einstein obtained an Undead Ground Warp Code one day. While discussing the matter with a fellow guard, Einstein suddenly ends up in a contest of pride. He had boasted to his colleague that he could deal with Zombie Slayers in Undead Ground. However, lacking confidence, Einstein asks you to defeat the Zombie Slayer in his place. When you return after defeating the Zombie Slayer, he thanks you. He nearly got teased by his colleagues as either a coward or a braggart. Finally, Aniac asks you not to tell anyone about this.
