Guard Miles requests help. Miles asks you to hunt the Scorlugs crawling around in front of the Colony, saying they have been causing the residents no end of trouble. After you clear out the monsters, he asks you to remain friends and help him in the future. Before you can even take a short break, the flu breaks out in Bloody Ice. Even residents who normally never catch colds are suffering from coughing, cold symptoms, runny noses, body aches, and headaches. Keller, the magic merchant, asks you to find herbs for the residents. Once you bring back the herbs, they boil and eat them together. Next, Deighton, the general goods merchant, asks for help. Since the recent incident in which the monsters of Bloody Ice mutated, it has become difficult to obtain hair from Zombie Maid. Zombie Maid hair is cheap and durable, making it ideal for crafting straw sandals.

Guard Tteggi requests help. Tteggi asks you to hunt the Red Garlies running around in front of the Colony, saying they have been causing the residents no end of trouble. After you clear out the monsters, he asks you to remain friends and help him in the future. Before you can even take a short break, Guard Marcus asks you to clear out the monsters in the desert. Lately, the desert monsters have become strangely sensitive, and attacks on people have increased as well. After clearing out Red Garlie Lair, Armor Merchant Dion asks for help. Since the recent incident in which the desert monsters mutated, it has become difficult to obtain Desert Fox leather. Desert Fox leather is tough and durable, making it ideal for crafting armor.

General goods merchant Libert requests assistance. Libert asks me to obtain Elder Troglo's Coconuts. Elder Troglo is exceptionally skilled at distinguishing well-ripened Coconuts. Libert also asks me to defeat Treiple, who steals those Coconuts. After I resolve the matter, Libert says that I should help from time to time. Before I even have time to take a short rest, Officer Shooterburk calls and asks me to deliver a Compass to the Jungle Expedition Team. Apparently, the monsters in the jungle have recently been undergoing abnormal mutations. After delivering the Compass, general goods merchant Libert requests assistance again. Since the hunter has left, obtaining Troglo Warrior's wooden club has become difficult. They say there is no better-dried firewood than Troglo Warrior's wooden club.
When all the residents' requests have been fulfilled, the Instructor summons me. The Instructor says that they have been watching me closely and called me after becoming convinced that I possess greater skill than the other trainees. Once I prove my qualifications by hunting monsters, the Instructor recommends me to the Officer as a Special Trainee. The Officer teaches me about the reasons for developing Special Trainees. Recently, abnormal phenomena have continued throughout Nevareth, and the Colony Alliance Council decided to select highly skilled trainees to resolve them. The Officer makes me swear an oath at the Warrior's Altar and formally appoints me as a Special Trainee.
