Overview

Tteggi is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online. They can be found in Desert Scream.

Background Story

Before becoming a guard, Tteggi did not know that a guard's life would be so boring. Performing the same city patrol duties every day and being responsible for his assigned district is extremely tedious. Tteggi wants to pass his duties on to someone else and go have fun somewhere.

In-Game Quest History

Anomaly

He tells you that Nevareth nearly went to war while he was being promoted to a special trainee. A dispute broke out between Judin and Medenark, and monsters attacked a trade caravan. He tells you to ask Dunhaik for details.

First Meeting

When asked about Skaild's whereabouts, he admits that he recently met Skaild. Mistaking your intentions, Tteggi promises to invite you specially to the next gathering, asking whether the rumor has already spread. However, he lies that he is not close to Skaild and tells you to ask Guard Marcus.

Normal Quest

Tteggi asks you to hunt Desert Hounds instead of the guard unit. Recently, residents, travelers, and trade caravans have all suffered damage from Desert Hounds, but the chronic manpower shortage in Desert Scream makes it impossible to mount a campaign against them. After you finish the hunt, he praises your skill.

Expedition Leader Bane investigates the ruins, discovers a minefield inside, and asks the Desert Scream Guard for help clearing it. However, the Desert Scream Guard, suffering from a manpower shortage, is in no position to help Bane. Tteggi asks you to clear the minefield in their place.

Because he is bored, he forms a club with his fellow guards. He says that applicants must take a test to prove their qualifications, and asks you to kill and bring back Illusion Minotauros and Crusek Faello from Illusion Castle Underworld. The club they formed was a rabbit plushie collectors' club. His tastes are quite unusual.

When it is discovered that he knows the Pieces of Illusion Stone collected in Illusion Castle Underworld are expensive, he suspiciously shifts the subject to Warehouse Guard Fisher.

He considers himself the best guard in Nevareth. He claims to have won first place in a monster hunting speed competition in Mutant Forest. However, when he returns from hunting Mushed and Viant, he brushes it off, saying he does not know anything about it.

Tteggi laments that the world is growing more dangerous with each passing day. He says he does not know whom to trust in such circumstances. However, Tteggi says that anyone who defeats the Furious Ghoul, which had previously appeared only in legends, can be trusted. When you return after subjugating the Furious Ghoul in Undead Ground, Tteggi is utterly astonished that you defeated the Furious Ghoul. He then bows his head, wondering whether you might be the warrior who will save Nevareth.
