Marcus is an NPC in the MMORPG CABAL Online. He can be found in Desert Scream.

Background Story

Marcus, Tteggi, and Skaild were childhood friends who used to have fun together, but Marcus eventually took a different path from Skaild. Marcus is now deeply concerned about public safety issues in Desert Scream.

In-Game Quest History

Anomaly

You first meet him because of the problem of monsters overrunning the desert. He makes a fuss, saying that you have attracted the attention of the Colony Officer and Instructor. He says that the desert monsters have been behaving strangely and attacking even people. He gives you a mission to clear out Red Garlie Lair.

First Encounter

He worries about Skaild's safety, saying that Skaild told him not to reveal anything. He goes out of his way to tell you that Skaild is not a bad guy and that he even used to boss him around. Marcus used to build a hideout and play with Skaild and Tteggi when they were younger. The problem was that the monsters inside grew up along with them. You defeat the monsters there and finally manage to find Skaild.

Normal Quests

Marcus asks you to help with Colony public safety activities. Recently, Archionis and Architeryx have been running rampant in Desert Scream, leaving Colony public safety itself on the verge of collapse. Marcus says he is worried because increasingly violent monsters are appearing, and that the monsters may know something that humanity does not know.

In Nevareth, a weapon known as the Sword of Shade is famous. The sword is both durable and lightweight, and is said to allow its owner to adjust its destructive power at will. Marcus asks you to obtain it because he has wanted to own it for a long time.
