Nine suddenly calls out, saying that he has a bad feeling. He says that Prometheus may find and attack Patren. When you hurry back to the lodging, Arionell is crying. She says that Silverwood launched a surprise attack, and that Aike died while trying to protect Arionell as Patren went berserk. Silverwood took Patren away. Arionell wonders how Silverwood knew they were the only ones there and attacked them.

The companions are enraged at Aike's death. Rin swears to make Silverwood pay the price, while Freed blames himself for failing to protect Patren. Yuan calmly assesses the situation and worries about Arionell. He says that Arionell seems to feel guilty about being unable to protect Patren. He worries about what will happen if Prometheus obtains the ASC Controller.

Veradrix is shocked by Aike's death, but insists that they should first focus on recovering Patren and uncovering Prometheus's identity. The interpretation revealed that Prometheus's base was Fort. Ruina. However, Heil says that he could not contact Sirius, so he sent the interpreted map to Aldebaran. Veradrix asks you to take the map and confirm Sirius's safety.

When you visit Sirius' Hideout, you sense an eerie presence. If you had arrived even a little later, Sirius would have been attacked by The Vampire monsters. After rescuing Sirius from danger, Sirius takes the map and asks you to obtain Glacier Herb for treating his wounds.

Sirius suggests that there may be a spy among them, saying that no one besides them knows the locations of the lodging and hideout. He says that they may even have been brainwashed and controlled against their will.

Sirius says that he will find a new place to hide and asks Aldebaran to hear information about the internal spy. However, Aldebaran had already been killed by Prometheus. Veradrix introduces Mystic Blade, who guarded Aldebaran's final moments. Mystic Blade had originally been pursuing Silverwood, but came to know Aldebaran and began cooperating with him. Silverwood is said to have taken his eye. Just before dying, Aldebaran handed the investigation records to Mystic Blade and revealed the spy's name. It was Sage Rigel.

The group first buries Aldebaran's body on the coast of Port Lux and gathers their companions to discuss countermeasures. As a result of the meeting, they decide to attack Prometheus's base in Fort. Ruina.
