News arrives that Veradrix has visited the residence in Port Lux. Veradrix praises us for all our hard work. Aldebaran is continuing to investigate the insider within the Sage Tower, while Veradrix says he came to focus the investigation on the Mage Guild. Veradrix believes that the suspicious movements of the Heresist and Mage Guild are related to Prometheus, and asks us to visit Tesky, a magical researcher in Green Despair, and question him. Since Tesky was once an executive of the Mage Guild, he is said to have a scroll containing information.
Tesky remembered taking Heil's ancient treatise years ago. When asked to hand over the Mage Guild's scroll, he explains what happened. He says that the Mage Guild fell into turmoil when suspicious dark mages joined it. Disliking this, Tesky left the Mage Guild and began independent research. Veradrix remarks that Tesky, who is blunt and straightforward, must have taken a liking to him since he handed over the scroll so easily.
They later learn the location of the Mage Guild Laboratory through the magic scroll. It was near the lighthouse on the southern coast of Port Lux. After investigating the laboratory, they find a mage's book and a bottle of suspicious blue liquid. Veradrix deciphers the materials day and night, to Morrison's concern, and discovers a reference to Fort. Ruina. Fort. Ruina is a place reserved for those belonging to the upper echelon of the Sage Tower. The fact that it was mentioned in the Mage Guild's materials was evidence that a traitor definitely existed within the Sage Tower. Veradrix cannot believe that someone he knows could be the spy.
The bottle of blue liquid found with the mage's book is apparently, according to the investigation by the magic merchant Yerte, something extracted from minerals while harvesting underground resources. However, this was possible only with special machines belonging to the Metal Clan, not with mages. Realizing that the Mage Guild joined forces with the Metal Clan to create a substance for attacking the Plant Clan, Veradrix recalls a report that previously came from Green Despair. I wonder what Prometheus's true identity could be.
Aldebaran later comes to the residence in Port Lux and waits there. Aldebaran shares the progress of the investigation. After compiling and organizing all the information gathered so far, he says that Prometheus's forces are beyond imagination. The Dark Clan is behind the Heresists, while the Mage Guild caused monster mutations and joined forces with the Metal Clan to launch a concentrated attack on the Plant Clan. Prometheus is causing abnormalities by taking advantage of the disruption of the balance among the monster clans. They are clearly after pieces of the Absolute Soul Core. Veradrix says there must be another plan of theirs that they do not know about, and that for now they have no choice but to keep Patren safe, uncover Prometheus's true identity, and punish Prometheus.
