While you were focused on investigating the ruins in the desert, the Heresist were spreading throughout Nevareth. The Heresist were particularly rampant across the Pastur Continent. Aldebaran wants you to resolve this problem. You are advised to meet Carter, the harbor manager in Green Despair. He is guarding the route, so he is likely to know the rumors.

Carter investigates after hearing a rumor that there is an outstanding person among the Colony trainees. He says that, for some time now, suspicious people wearing black cloaks, with ghostly white faces and cold eyes, have been entering the harbor. Although they seemed suspicious, there was no reason to stop them, so he let them pass. Looking back, he thinks they may have been Heresist preachers. After they entered Green Despair, the Heresist began spreading across the Pastur Continent, and Collins's son ran away from home. Collins sheds tears every day because of this, and Carter feels sorry.

When you visit Collins to deliver Carter's consolation money, Collins is preparing to close his shop for a while because of his son's disappearance. Collins refuses the consolation money and only wishes for his son to return. Collins asks you to find his son. He says that, in return, he could give you not only the consolation money but his entire fortune. He tells you about the Mutated Jungle Cabin where the Heresist gather. When you search the cabin, you find Collins's son Ben unconscious. The joy of finding him is short-lived; even after some time has passed, Ben does not return to his normal state. He looks as if he has lost his mind.

Collins says that seeing his son in that condition breaks his heart and that he cannot bear it, so he asks you to obtain the heart of a Giant Spider. He says that a person who has lost their mind because of the Heresist will return to their senses if they drink a decoction made from a spider's heart. Once you bring back the heart, Ben returns to his normal state.

Collins explains that, according to his son, the Heresists were preparing a ceremony. No one knows what the ceremony was for, but it was dangerous enough to shake the world, and the Heresists had marked and guarded a Moscutter to offer as a sacrifice. Collins says that Libert, the general goods merchant, knows a great deal and will likely know about this. When you visit Libert and ask about it, he becomes serious after seeing the mark that had been placed on the Moscutter. He says that marking sacrifices for a ceremony is a custom of the Dark Clan and tells you to report it to Shooterburk. Shooterburk is having a hard time investigating because people who had recently fallen in with the Heresists have begun returning.

Shooterburk falls into thought upon hearing that the Dark Clan is behind the Heresist. It is similar to how the Mage Guild was behind the jungle mutation phenomenon. Shooterburk wants to investigate the true identity of the Heresist and the conspiracy they are plotting. He asks you to go see Nadler.

Nadler's older brother ran away from home but has now returned. He has nothing particular to report, but Nadler's brother is troubled that he could not leave the Heresists together with the girl who follows the cult leader. He recommends meeting Nodaka's older sister, who also returned with Nadler's brother.

Nodaka's older sister knew about the ritual they were planning to perform. She apparently believed that once the ritual was complete, the world would be destroyed and a new world created. However, she left the Heresist after its leadership treated and manipulated people like slaves and even mobilized Plant monsters for battle. Nodaka recommends meeting Sean.

Guard Sean's mother was also one of those who returned. She witnessed Dark Clan monsters and robed mages wearing black cloaks associating with the cult leader. She informs them that the Heresist's main base seems to be near the ice mountains of Bloody Ice. After receiving the report, Shooterburk is frustrated that the Sage Tower is doing nothing. However, the Colony also lacked personnel capable of carrying out a purge operation, so they ask me to determine the facts. While investigating the Heresist's hideout, I find and bring back an injured Heresist who had collapsed.

When questioned, the Heresist leaves behind a cryptic remark instead of confessing willingly. “We will become strongest on the night of the full moon, and everything will stand beneath our feet.” Shooterburk does not understand what it means either, but he is reminded of The Vampire. There was a legend that when the full moon rose, The Vampire grew stronger by receiving the moon's energy. However, The Vampire is a monster of the Undead Clan, while the force behind the Heresist is the Dark Clan. It is possible that there may also be some relationship between the Mage Guild and the Undead Clan. I wonder what result will come at the end of all this.
