2. Background Story

Losing one's homeland or parents after being attacked by monsters is one of the common tragedies in Nevareth. The Eileen siblings were no exception. Fortunately, the Eileen siblings had someone who could serve as their guardian. Sirius and Veradrix helped the Eileen siblings settle in Desert Scream and looked after them. As a result, the Eileen siblings grew up without going astray and became people who could care about others. Although they have lost contact with Sirius, the Eileen siblings still feel a bond with him and even prepare special food when Veradrix visits. However, Eileen is also practical, possessing a knack for business while carrying out actions that harm others.

3. Deeds in In-Game Quests

Anomaly

I once saw a woman searching for her sibling, who had been taken by a dark wizard. She tells me that she heard rumors that dark wizards are searching for something sealed in an ancient ruin. She considers their pursuit of salvation to be nonsensical drivel.

Prologue

Sage Sirius had looked after the siblings since before he went into hiding, but apparently all he left behind was a farewell letter. Instead, they had a means of contacting him.

Land of Death

When you visit the Eileen siblings at Sirius's request and ask about the Phantasmal Clan, Eileen is puzzled. She says that the monsters wandering the continent either fled from the Clan or were expelled. She recommends visiting Dion, saying that he is likely to have more information.

Discovery Through Research

When you visit after hearing Solme's words, Eileen explains that collecting scrap metal in Forgotten Ruin is the orphans' main source of income. She says this only began recently and that they are doing it out of necessity because of the war. Eileen says that the children will not have to enter dangerous places once the war ends. She then asks you to eliminate the Fire Beetle so that the children can travel safely through Forgotten Ruin.

Suspicious Sage

If you visit at Shooterburk's request and ask questions, he gives you an item. It was a stone containing a spell that caused warriors to go blind when they touched it. Eileen says she did not want to do this but had no choice if she wanted to make a living, and asks you to turn a blind eye.

Normal Quests

Unlike the other merchants who do business in town, the Eileen siblings operate on the outskirts of town. Knowing that I travel around Nevareth, Eileen asks me to deliver heat pouches to Deighton, the general goods merchant in Bloody Ice. Unlike the sweltering desert of Desert Scream, Bloody Ice is covered in snow, so heat pouches sell well there. Deighton praises Eileen's business acumen.

The Eileen siblings are pleased when Veradrix visits Desert Scream. Apparently, Veradrix has looked after the Eileen siblings for a long time. However, the Eileen siblings are worried about Veradrix's poor health and want to serve oxtail soup. When I bring them Bugmander's tail, they are pleased that the meat is fresh and go to cook oxtail soup.

The Eileen siblings ask me to deliver the heated sandbag ordered by Deighton to Bloody Ice. Deighton is grateful.

The siblings ask whether I happen to know Showorai. Showorai is a highly renowned explorer from the Huan Continent who achieved the feat of exploring all of Nevareth, including Juan. However, Showorai disappeared at some point. There are rumors that Showorai was last seen near Desert Scream, but there is no evidence. People are searching, but they have made no progress. The Eileen siblings are happy that the number of people in Desert Scream has increased thanks to the warriors, but they say they worry whenever they think of the missing Showorai. The Eileen siblings hand me the diary they found at the facility where Showorai had been staying.
