2. Background Story

Port Lux, located on Exilian Island, is beautiful but showed no mercy to humans. Peticia, who had settled in Port Lux in the past, also lost her child on the island. Since then, the warriors passing through Port Lux have reminded Peticia of her lost child.

Peticia asks you to obtain a Bloody Ogre's Tooth from Lakeside. Saddened that Guard Forus is quitting his post, she plans to make him short rib soup. The ingredient she needed was a Bloody Ogre's Tooth. It is a popular ingredient because it is said to be good for skeletal health. When you bring a Bloody Ogre's Tooth from Lakeside, Peticia is embarrassed and says that the rumor about Forus changing jobs was false.

Peticia teaches you about the Dungeons scattered throughout Nevareth. Peticia says that Dungeons are far more dangerous than villages, and that even in the past and today, countless warriors have died while exploring them. However, the points awarded as a reward for clearing a Dungeon were DP, or Dungeon Points. Peticia exchanges the DP warriors acquire for items. As a reward for listening to her story, Peticia gives you a Cube and tells you to come back later.
