Second Special Combat Colony

1.Overview

Polis Judin's special Combat Colony located in the southern desert of Polis Judin.
The official name is “Polis Judin's 2nd Special Combat Colony.”

2.Environment

Due to the area's desolation and scorching heat, people began calling it Desert Scream, a nickname for the desert's sandstorms, instead of using the Colony's name, and the name became widely established. The area was formed around a massive oasis called Palace Desert, with settlements built around it, and is said to have once been an ocean. Apart from the oasis, the area is surrounded by nothing but large and small sand dunes, and monsters also appear there, making it difficult to endure without exceptional mental fortitude.

Nevertheless, the area's enormous salt desert—the only one on the entire continent—and its high-quality salt have attracted heavy traffic since ancient times. In addition, District 5, under the administration of Polis Judin's 13th Resource Colony, was once an oil field here. However, it became unprofitable more than a decade ago and was abandoned. The abandoned oil field is now used as a cemetery.

3. Others

During an expedition, ancient ruins were discovered near Desert Scream. Since they were discovered only recently and are located near a Combat Colony where monsters appear, a full-scale exploration has not yet begun.
The ancient ruins contain scattered unidentified stone structures, statues depicting people, and altars (things that look like altars).

The clothing is primarily in the Normal Juan style, and because of the threat posed by monsters, many people can be seen wearing Martial Suits as everyday clothing.
