When Shlansky, the warehouse guard in Port Lux, calls you over, he tells you to go because an urgent message has arrived from Hide in Fort. Ruina. When you meet Hide, he says that the Blacksmith had been away for too long, so he tried to repair the warp circuit himself and accidentally broke it. Still, he did achieve something. When you take it back to your companions, Yuan says that Prometheus may have determined the location of the ASC Controller and suggests asking Sirius. Sirius recalls that leaving records in this manner is a habit of the Undead Clan, and realizes that the monsters that attacked him and Nine, as well as Rigel's guards, were all monsters of the Undead Clan. It is now certain that the Undead Clan has joined forces with Prometheus and is acting together with them. Sirius speculates that Prometheus's Base may be in one of the Undead Clan's major habitats. That place is the Land of Death, Undead Ground. However, Sirius says that the location of the ASC Controller is more important right now than Prometheus's Base.

Freed, who went to find the ASC Controller, has not sent any word. Sirius says that since there has been no contact, there will likely be no results either. Freed was currently staying at the travelers' lodge in Port Lux and making inquiries. However, since most people at the Tower of the Sage did not even know what ASC was, ordinary people could not possibly know about it, and naturally there were no results. For now, Freed reportedly asked the harbor manager to look into it.

At that point, news finally came from Porter, the harbor manager. Porter says that Researcher Heil would know about the ASC Controller. However, Heil has fallen back into gambling and is now selling even the high-grade test subjects he has collected so far to raise funds. Porter suggests that if you capture the high-grade test subject Mechamander+ and bring it to him, you can get an answer. Freed returned to Fort. Ruina first, and I handed the captured test subject over to Heil and met with him. It turned out that Heil's master had hidden the ASC Controller in Undead Ground.
